“It was a perfect set up. I was able to cook a lot for the wake we had plan. The light above e to kitchen sind burnt out while we were there. People took showers and almost fell. You need to consider a bathmat in those tubs. We old people can afford to slip in fall the bathtub!”

“Perfect location to walk to downtown area restaurants and activities. Short drive to beautiful Starved Rock. We enjoyed the outdoors during the day and the local restaurants in the evening. Tangled Root brewery was great.”

“Our group enjoyed our stay here in Ottawa. Four families came for my cousin’s wedding and the location was very close to the local home at which everyone was meeting up. We had a few things come up during our stay that ultimately resulted in the four star review, but the host was responsive throughout. The two floors are very much separate apartments, we did not have enough towels or paper products when we arrived, and we had an issue with the upstairs shower not draining. Thankfully they dropped off additional supplies to address the issue at check in and the next day we found drano at the door to fix the shower. My husband used it and everything was back to working order. The parking is tricky for as many cars as we had and the outside lighting wasn’t great for the garage or the stairs to the upstairs apartment. Overall we were satisfied with our experience but thought the four stars was the most appropriate rating we could give. Thank you for your hospitality!”

“Great place within easy walking distance of downtown Ottawa with plenty of restaurants and shops. Also right off the canal trail to bike/walk, and easy drive to Starved Rock and Matthiessen state parks. Place was welcoming, clean, and communication was clear/prompt. Garage space was nice as we were able to lock our bikes in there overnight and simply park outside. Would (probably will since we want to come back and see the parks in spring/early summer!) definitely stay here again.”
