Vacasa in Mccall, Idaho

“Very Unhappy! We specifically booked this house because of 3 things: 1. Jacuzzi 2. Pet Friendly 3. Barbeque. The barbeque looked like it was found on the side of the road. It had 3 burners, one burner did not work at all, another burner was broken and had a hole in it, and flame only came out of the hole. The Jacuzzi was dirty! Nothing worse than a "public" Jacuzzi that has dirty water, and dirt and sand on the bottom. Not sure what disease might be in there. The irony is that I called the Owner/Vacasa number one month before the reservation to confirm that the barbeque and jacuzzi worked, I was told, "if the items is listed as an Amenity then it works properly"....HA! What a joke!! The afternoon we arrived, I check everything and figured out the barbeque was completely broken so I called and texted Vacasa and they did nothing about it. ADDITIONALLY...House is VERY dirty, kitchen is un-equipped, and the house has deferred maintenance throughout. Should not be a rental.”

“Spacious, great layout, good for hanging out with the family. The hot tub is 10/10! Loft is spacious for kids to hang out with parents just downstairs in their own space. Optimal parking for snowmobile trailers and pickups with sled decks! We would not stay here again, but it got the job done for us to ride during Presidents’ Day weekend. The place needs some TLC.”

“The driveway and exterior stairs were completely frozen. No effort was made to make a clean and safe access for driving or walking. One of my guest slipped down the stairs, the rest of the guest had a hard time getting belongings into the home. I do not recommend having older guests or children attempt this during winter conditions. Secondly, the A/C is not throughout the home (listed in description), you can tell in parts of the home more than others. Third, the garage was too short to fit our SUV and had no man door to exit. The room above it has no restroom, which is not convenient either. Fourth, the shared neighborhood amenities such as pool and hot tub are not described or pictured on how to access them. We did not even attempt to bother looking after the first day. Fifth, the grills were not clean. Good things, the home was overall well cleaned and had good quality. Very nice furniture and structure/style. The kitchen was the highlight of this stay as it had EVERYTHING needed.”
