“Unfair extra money was charged”

“The place was not clean. The kitchen equipment looked like they had bought a job lot at a second hand shop. Work top cracked. Plates and equipment not clean. General poor maintenance. Not up to the normal hoght standard of AirBNB by any means. Not secluded, you have other cabins real close by. You are close to a main highway and there is traffic noise day and night. Host slow to respond and poor communicator, again, well below normal AirBNB standard. Dingy and poorly maintained. Quite a few of the amenities they claim were not provided, for example the outside eating area, not there and when I asked I received a very condescending, to the point of being rude, reply from one of the cohorts and was told they would not provide it, despite it being listed as an amenity and with photos, I refer to the outside eating area. TV is minute by modern standards and can not be viewed from the dining table. We would never rent again from this host.”

“Great place! However saw dust on the nightstands and a lollipop stuck on one of the bathroom rugs!! Overall good place, however could of been cleaner!”

“The place is literally off the highway with very few trees between the highway and house. There is traffic all day and night speeding by and it is loud! The dock in the back was falling apart and a hazard for kids. The rugs under the dining room table and living room coffee table were covered in mouse droppings as was the bottom drawer of the oven. The master bedroom has a king size bed with a poor mattress that they attempted to improve with a topper. It wasn’t effective and we wouldn’t sleep in it more. There was also a super loud noise that would cycle on and off in there that made it impossible to sleep. There were minimal fans and since we couldn’t sleep in the main bedroom we were all sweating upstairs without good air movement. The DVD player upstairs kept reading disc error and wouldn’t work which was unfortunate as we had rainy evenings keeping us indoors. There was a nice amount of space and plenty of beds as well as good items for cooking.”

“Cleaning service needs to be replaced. Food and stains found on cupboards, first plate and cup were both dirty. Plate looked like mayo had been smeared on it then put away. Shampoo and conditioner were empty in one bathroom. Not impressed for the cost.”
