“This home worked out so well for our party and felt like a great deal, especially considering the neighborhood hotels. The bedrooms are all spacious and have massive closets and bathrooms. It was also really nice to have a large, stocked kitchen. We had a golf cart dropped off for us and took full advantage of the shops next door and the onsite gym. The only negative about the home: the living room A/C vent was making a noise similar to a bug zapper while it was running, which we communicated to the host and wasn’t addressed or acknowledged during our stay. If that gets solved I would definitely be back if ever visiting the area again.”

“Overall, it was a five-star experience. We were 5 adults 2 kids. We would recommend to others, and we would stay again. The house itself is beautiful. The AC very responsive. The location was very good (we had a rental car, which is a must for Big Island), there was a good grocery store very nearby and some restaurants. Location is close to good beaches. Accommodations were as described. Lots beach toys, beach accessories, towels, umbrellas, etc. There was mosquito spray, good amounts of laundry detergent, drinks in the fridge, etc. These are areas for improvement, none of which detracted from a 5 star experience. - It was dimly lit in the basement 2nd bedroom and bathroom - No kettle in kitchen We did not bother the host about any of the above, so did not want or expect resolution. We loved our stay!!”

“The house was such a great surprise and impressed all the trip members. First and foremost, the house is bigger and more premium compared to what the photos show. The space in each bedroom, kitchen, and balcony are all larger compared to we expected. Secondly, the private beach near by has the calm water for kids and seniors; as well as great snorkeling spot right on the left hand of the shore. Last, the community has beautiful gardens and trees. The egg swing on the balcony somehow is a special spot for bird watching. We saw Erckel’s Francolin and a dozen more species. Thank you for Mele’s great service. This is the best AirB&B I have ever stayed.”
