Besides the wonderful surroundings and lovely home, it was how well the garage was stocked with beach and pool equipment that took our stay to the next level! We really appreciated that.

The unit itself was very spacious and clean. This was a nice fit for our family. After booking through Airbnb, I was receiving multiple follow ups asking me to pay an additional $1,000 for club access (which we didn’t need). After saying no for the third time, they stopped pressuring me into getting this. When I sent a message to the host asking the name of the golf course we were staying on (because Apple Maps showed two course names), nobody responded within a day. When I sent a follow up to my question, they told me to ask someone else. They didn’t seem too helpful.

We had a GREAT stay there with our 4-year old and grandparents. The layout of rooms is great with lots of privacy. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with equipment to make cooking easy, and the beach toy/equipment set up was next level. Coolers, more chairs than we could need, multiple umbrellas, sand toys, snorkels and fins, and bikes! They provided beach/pool towels (there was one per person, which meant we had to do laundry every night, but laundry was right next to the kitchen/family area so it wasn't too hard). The pool area was really nice for kids, with a shallow pool that flows into the main pool. There's not a ton of shade around the pool, but you can make it work by following the palm tree shadows. The location was great, a 15 minute walk (on the road, but with a wide pedestrian/bike lane) to grocery store, coffee shop, etc. About 35 minutes to walk to the ocean at Mauna Lani beach club - half of the walk on a nice trail. The pass to Mauna Lani beach club was essential!
