“We enjoyed our stay at Polo Beach Club 109. The location is excellent and easily the best feature of the property. We lost power for about 24 hours due to Hurricane Lala, obviously outside anyone’s control, and appreciated that ownership provided a flashlight and umbrella. The unit is dated, but the location makes up for a lot. The screen door doesn’t fully close and has a hole that can let bugs or small critters in. We found a small lizard inside—not a big deal and an easy fix. My main complaint, and the reason for four stars instead of five, is the master bath. The sunken tub requires stepping over a high, wide tiled ledge and lowering yourself in. I’m athletic with excellent balance and still found it unnecessarily risky. I understand others have raised this concern. Since the unit stays rented, there may be little incentive to take it offline for a costly renovation, but eventually someone could slip and get seriously hurt. It’s an outdated design that should be addressed.”

“Very mislead by KBM Resort description of property. It was listed as: Grand Champions Condo-Entire home/apt hosted by KBM Resort Rentals 5 Bedrooms 4 Bathrooms. This was not a entire home, condo or apt. It is actually 2 separate Condos. A 3 bedroom 2 bath and a 2 bedroom 2 bath. They are not even in the same building. They are 22 parking spaces away from each other. Not even close. This was false representation. The 2 Bedroom Condo had a malfunctioning air conditioner and a horrible Bed. (reported this but not attempt to fix air was made). The 3 Bedroom Condo was nice. But the deck railing is rotting and very loose. Had to stay away as it was not stable (a big safety issue). Biggest complaint is the misrepresentation of being a Entire home,condo or apt! False Advertising and representation. We would like to file a complaint with Airbnb!”

“Great location—ideal for families, with the beach and pool just steps away, plus secure coded access for peace of mind. Communication was generally good, but we didn’t receive follow-up on the promised 20% discount after 2 days without AC. While weather initially made installing a portable unit difficult (understandable), there was no follow-up once conditions improved. The unit could use updates, especially the main bathroom tub, and the jacuzzi lacks safe access. Overall, a convenient stay, but improvements are needed.”

“Overall a really good experience and an excellent location! Walk out the back door to the beach! Enjoyed meeting locals that live there and other travellers staying there. Nice BBQ's near pool. Kitchenwares were abundant....most anything you could need. A few minor improvements like fixing lighting (ceiling can lights out) would make the place nicer. Better sliding door. Loved that they offer beach chairs, umbrella, towel rack, and other items. Beach towels were brand new! If you are disabled or have physical limitations you may need to know that to get in shower (master suite) combination bath/shower; you will need to be able to step over wide bath ledge to get into the jacuzzi tub/shower which is a bit deeper then standard bath/showers. I'm 5'6" and in my 60's and was able to traverse it, but had to sit down to get in. It's not an easy step over like most bath showers combinations. We never used the jacuzzi bath but the shower head was nice. Amazing sunsets here too!”
