“oh man, we didn't want to leave but we had to leave a day early because of Hurricane Lala. The place is literally 5 mins from the HVNP and very close to the volcano village. we manage to catch the Lava flowing on our 2nd night. place is easy to find and very cozy. we felt right at home. it was a very peaceful and relaxing stay. thank you”

“We had a great stay. The location was perfect for us to be so near the park and convenient to other areas. It was a beautiful, relaxing setting, and we made good use of all the "extras" such as the dishwasher, washer/dryer, grill, and hot tub. We had dinners and morning coffee out on the lanai--such a pleasant spot! Everything was exceptionally clean, and the host checked in to be sure everything was as we needed. Even the volcano cooperated with an amazing eruption, and we were close enough to go view it multiple times! Thank you for a wonderful stay--we will be back!”

“We were happy to stay in Volcano, quite close to the national park. Keypad entry was easy and convenient. Space was homey, stylish, clean, comfortable, and cozy. Definitely felt like we were staying at a friends, place, not some vacation condo. Hot tub was nice after a day of hiking and exploring. I thought we might need A/C but you are high enough that evenings are cool even though it can warm up during the day when it is not raining, which it did probably 50% of the time we were there. It seems in the rain forest, partly cloudy = light sprinkle. Though there are neighbors on the street, the location felt completely remote from the tourist scene. You are a couple of miles away from any of that. No problem with a car, though. Recommended.”
