“The place was in a good location and had everything we needed, but it could have been cleaner. What we liked the least was communication, which was pretty much non existent other than a few generic emails. We had issues the first night of our stay and sent a message to the host, which we never got a response to. Luckily we were able to take care of the issue ourselves, but a response from the host would have been great.”

“We really enjoyed our stay. I believe they have recently upgraded the a/c units in each room, including down stairs. The pics showed window a/c units, but it had built in ones in each space when we got there! A washer/dryer and a full kitchen along with a ton of beach equipment;perfect t for large groups.We actually brought some beach supplies that we left behind for the next people that come to stay, so they’ll have even more beach equipment. There are some snorkels, masks, flippers, coolers, sand toys, four boogie boards and eight chairs for the beach. I think there were beach umbrellas, but we didn’t use them. I did not know that those things were available, so I had brought my own… I hope this review helps somebody in the future. The condo was clean, and the kitchen was pretty much fully stocked with cooking and eating utensils. It took us a little while to find the detergent pods for the clothes washer so we left behind the Mini jug of soap we got for whoever stays there next.”

“Ali’i Kai is very nice. The condo is located in a private area with a beautiful views. The neighbors were so nice and super helpful. We used the outside propane BBQ and the nearby pool. The location of the condo is steps from a trail to Turtle Cave and if you’re in good shape it’s not to be missed. The condo received little to no damage from Hurricane Lowell. I’d be thrilled to stay again.”

“The place itself was okay, but I wasn't happy with the way I was treated during my stay. I inquired about early check-in, as our entire family was practically already parked in front of the house an hour and a half early. They replied 30 minutes before check-in saying we couldn't check in because they were still cleaning. This wasn't true, as we were keeping a close eye on anyone leaving. We checked in on time, but I didn't realize there was no air conditioning in the house - only fans. I thought air conditioning was standard in such a place. It was very difficult to stay inside because of the temperature. Another issue was the power outage for about six hours. Every time I asked on Airbnb, they copied and pasted a message telling me to contact the property management office. We received no help when the power went out - all the fans were dead, leaving us breathless. The only thing they were interested in was our departure time, and they had no problem responding to messages normally.”
