“An Amazing Kaua‘i Experience Our family’s first trip to Kaua‘i couldn’t have been better. After booking, we came across some mixed reviews, which gave us a moment of hesitation—but from the moment we arrived, all concerns disappeared. The home is absolutely beautiful—photos don’t fully capture its warmth, charm, and peaceful energy. Surrounded by lush landscaping, it offers both privacy and a truly relaxing atmosphere. Inside, everything was spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and incredibly inviting. The open layout made it perfect for cooking, gathering, and enjoying quality time together as a family. The home was well-stocked with clean linens, soft towels, and a kitchen that had everything we needed and more. Every detail felt intentional, comfortable, and welcoming. We would absolutely stay here again and are so grateful for such a wonderful experience. Mahalo 🌺”

“Our family of 6 had a great time at Lo'i Hale Poipu House. The neighborhood was very quiet. We loved the easy access to the Poipu beaches (turtles and monk seals every day!), Koloa markets and walking paths. The house was very clean and well appointed with very comfortable beds, and we appreciated beach chairs and the well equipped kitchen as well as the spacious living room area.”

“We enjoyed our stay overall. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. The house is well-sized and comfortably accommodates a party of five. It’s close to the beach and shops, though not quite walkable, especially since sidewalks along the main road are limited, which is something to be aware of. The kitchen was adequate for our needs, though a few items could use replacing. Bedding and pillows were comfortable, and we slept well during our stay. There are a few areas that could be improved. The house would benefit from a deep cleaning, upstairs patios should have been mopped prior to our arrival. Furniture is acceptable but feels more like staging furniture; functional, yet not particularly comfortable or inviting We are especially grateful to our host, Lyra, who was very responsive and helpful. She brought items that were missing from the rental and was very flexible and understanding on our last day when our daughter became sick. Her responsiveness made a big difference in our experience.”

“The community itself was absolutely beautiful—quiet, well-kept, and surrounded by tropical scenery. The neighborhood was a true highlight. The house was adequate but very bare-minimum. Everything provided was the basics, nothing more. Several maintenance issues need to be addressed before future guests stay here. The blinds were broken and difficult to use. The bedding and linens had a strong mildew smell, like they hadn’t been dried properly, and felt damp. The rental description mentioned beach supplies and mentioned twice that the garage was for guest use. When we asked to use the garage, the rental company said the owner did not want guests accessing or using the garage at all, and we were not allowed to park our rental car inside or have garage access whatsoever, despite it being advertised. TVs were extremely difficult to use and the rental company had to be contacted for help. The trip was enjoyable, but I would not recommend someone I know stay here in its current condition”
