“Except for the hurricane and loss of power for the last 2 days, which had NOTHING to do with the unit, the listing was wonderful. It was removed and remote and very very nice.”

“A beautiful and peaceful place to stay with a wonderful host. Be aware there is no air conditioning. There are ceiling fans and box fans, and it does cool down at night but during the day it can get very warm.”

“The home itself was very spacious in common areas, loved that there were three bathrooms and very homey feel. The gardens were beautiful to enjoy in the morning with a cup of tea. The location is a beautiful drive throughout east Hawai’i, about 30min from Hilo airport, 15min to Kehena black sand beach, 45min to volcano national park and a very nice grocery store nearby! Check-in and communication with property management was very seamless. Would definitely stay here again!!!”

“Cozy nice clean spot for a good deal, was perfect for us we were out and about most the days and just crashed at night. The road noise was little loud at times but slept through it all. Would definitely recommend and visit again.”

“Nice area, but house is located on a very busy noisy road. Security light in bedroom does not shut off also making it hard to sleep at night. Shower in house is very small with no room to move around. We made do with outdoor shower. The kitchen was stocked with condiments (ketchup, mustard, mayo, salt, pepper, etc) which was great! A few other spices and herbs were also provided. The house had covered parking which was a nice feature since it rained almost everyday during our stay. A washer and dryer was available for our use as well, which was much apreciated. The host was super and very responsive and helpful.”
