“Love the location. Pool just out our door. Super close to black sand beach. Gets pretty warm inside, so plan accordingly. Very calm and peaceful. Was able to cook and do laundry which was awesome. There are a few places close to eat out and have a few drinks. Loved our stay”

“The home was beautiful, very clean, and exceptionally well maintained. The landscaping and gardens were stunning, and we really enjoyed the swimming pool. Our favorite part was waking up to the beautiful sunrise and the distant ocean views. The location was excellent for visiting the southernmost point, Punaluʻu Black Sand Beach, and Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park. It is in a quieter, more rural area, so guests should plan ahead for groceries and dining. We did encounter several cockroaches inside the home during our stay, along with a large centipede. We understand Hawaii is a tropical environment, but this was the only issue that detracted from an otherwise enjoyable stay. One additional suggestion would be to remove or set aside the pool cleaning robot while guests are swimming, as the hose could present a tripping or entanglement hazard. Overall, the property is beautiful, well cared for, and in a great location for exploring the southern part of the island.”
