“This unit was as described and a good home base for our week in Maui. The property is beautiful and we enjoyed watching turtles on the nearby beach. The view from the lanai is amazing and the pool was great! It was also a very convenient location for the activities we had planned, especially those that started at the nearby harbor. As noted, there is only a window AC unit in the living room and we found it did not really cool the bedroom. Overall, this was a great spot, but I would choose a place with AC in the bedroom for my next stay.”

“The property itself has a lot to offer. The oceanfront view was gorgeous. Unfortunately, our experience was significantly affected by the ongoing roof repairs and the associated jackhammering/scraping noises from 8:30am through 5:00pm. Our primary disappointment was not simply that maintenance was occurring, but that the extent of the work and its potential impact were not communicated by the host to us before (or even after) our arrival despite prior notification and posting by building management. Once we immediately raised our concerns, we also felt the response could have been more timely and proactive in finding a potential alternative location. Unfortunately, the alternative location did not work out, however, Maui Paradise Properties did ultimately work with us toward a final cost adjustment for our inconveniences, which we appreciate. Overall, we enjoyed the beautiful view, pool and amenities of the property despite the above issues.”

“Overall we had a good time staying here. Nice place, great view, and clean. We did have an issue with the AC not working in 2 of the bedrooms. They provided extra fans and ultimately gave us a discount for the inconvenience. The location was great—close to nice beaches (walk to Airport Beach) and a quick drive to restaurants/shopping. The house was clean and comfy. The kitchen was well-stocked, and they had beach chairs and towels. It was a little strange how the three bathrooms were all en-suites, but not a big deal! One thing I felt could use improvement was the host company’s response time. There were several times I messaged, and it showed “read,” but I didn’t receive a response and had to message again. The host company doesn’t seem local, as they have an “on-island” number you can text or call. This was a bit frustrating with the AC issue, but had everything been working fine, I probably wouldn’t have noticed. Overall, a decent place to stay with a group!”
