Maui Paradise Properties
4.71Visit website
Maui Paradise Properties's guest rating of 4.71 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Overall the property was ok. The condo suited what we needed it to. Was very disappointed to find out when we checked in that the pool the only amenity that is offered was closed for 3 weeks without them mentioning it to us so that was a terrible start. They were having construction noise from 8:30-5 everyday we were there. I contacted the company, at first they were responsive until I got Airbnb involved and then nothing until I reached out to them. They gave us a very small compensation for the pool not being available which had we known in advance we would have switched locations, especially since we have kids and the pool was a big plus to this place. We did enjoy watching the surfers from the balcony, the condo was good for what we needed it to be. There is AC, BUT it is not whole home ac it is only in the bedrooms so that was misleading. The main area got slightly warm but worked with the fans. I would say if recommending to friends and family I would tell them to pick others.”airbnb

“Beautiful condo with amazing views right on the ocean. Had everything we needed for our 6 day stay and felt right at home. We didn’t want to leave!! We will definitely be back.”airbnb

“We had a wonderful time at the unit 153-4! It was exactly as described. I would totally stay here again.. Kitchen had lots of utensils and useful groceries!! I traveled with elderly parents and they were very comfortable having a well equipped kitchen! There were games, board games, beach equipment. Everything was perfect!! Pool by the beach was great. Beautiful views in the day and night. The beach is literally 5mins from the unit and I heard the ocean from the unit. Clean surroundings, happy neighbors and beautiful trees and flowers. I was nervous staying there due to the fires but the area did not look bad at all. Although some construction I’m glad I picked Lahaina as our stay. The only thing was - I wish Maui Paradise allowed a last minute upgrade. I was ok with paying more to change my unit to a one facing the beach. I understand the policy but paid upgrade should have been allowed. Next time I’ll look for a property facing the beach!”airbnb

“Cottage as advertised yet one day after arrival, construction began on the roof next door which created noise and privacy issues. This lasted for five days of a seven day stay. Only response I received was asking for video and photos to substantiate my issue. I submitted evidence as requested. This occurred after roofers showed up at my second cottage #16 by mistake. Bottom line, there is a major disconnect between the owners and property management— or they don’t care because I paid in full before arrival.”airbnb

“This property did the job. The photos looked much better than the unit did in person. There was only 1 cart available to bring luggage up, which was inconvenient if you have more than 2-3 pieces of luggage. There was abundant parking, which was great, however the desk to register your car with the property had very short hours and was not open on the weekends. There is really no direct beach access, which was unfortunate. You had to walk a little bit in order to hit the beach. The views were great, but the HVAC unit on the patio was very noisy, making for a less relaxing morning cup of coffee. All in all, this place worked for what we needed, but was not a luxurious stay.”airbnb

“We will not re-book here. You have to check in at the front with all new information, told they have nothing to do with the actual check in process. 20 min of standing in the sun after unloading everything to find the code would not work, 2 phone calls and then told we would get a call back in 2 min; and then they would not answer the phone (front desk has nothing to do with check in). The "free" ticket you get with booking does not work, when you contact ABNB they say to contact the co and that goes no where. Positives: The deck was beautiful; location was perfect for us. Beds are comfortable. Close to the pool Negatives: Hot water heater is ridiculous for a family of 5 of very quick cold showers; based for a host of 8. Upon entry dead cockroaches in the carpet, ant bugs on the counters, bird poop on outside furniture, dust on glasses (check out is 10am to allow for cleaning). Carpet very worn. The # parking given to you does not match unit, be prepared to walk uphill!”airbnb

“We just had a great stay at this oceanfront rental and really enjoyed our time here! The location is absolutely unbeatable, waking up to that direct view of the ocean every morning was the highlight of the trip. The place was cozy/clean and had a beach within walking distance. However, I’m giving this 4 stars instead of 5 because the dishwasher was broken during our entire stay. With some miss communication with Maui Properties. While the they were communicative, it was quite inconvenient to wash all our dishes by hand for a 11 nights, especially while on vacation. With that said, if you can look past that, the location and view are truly spectacular. A few maintenance updates would make this place absolutely perfect.”airbnb

“House was stinky , bathroom and sinks were sticky, kitchen utensils were all rusty and on pan non stick was pilling off. We asked 3 times about washer and dryer before we came and they said it’s in a unit but upon arrival we find out it was broken and they simply said sorry which didn’t help us at all. No shower soap and shampoo , bathrooms were full of sand , no bathroom mats. Kitchen didn’t have even fresh wrap or aluminum foil . Toaster was broken , only 6 spoons in kitchen. No water filter . Dish washer is off 1980’s . Bathrooms were too small . And floor was sticky . Sofa smelled and didn’t feel like sitting on it . I would not stay here anytime in future . There was no salt, oil , sugar or any necessary ingredients, basically nothing except rusty pans .”airbnb
