“It's a beautiful area, very conveniently located near poipu beach, and short driving distance to other areas on the south shore. The apartment itself is comfortable, with nice views, fairly clean and well stocked. My only gripes were a number of small issues which, for the price, should probably be addressed; for example the windows needed some cleaning / couldn't clearly see the ocean views outside without leaving them open (pretty hot & humid during our stay so less than ideal), the washing machine wouldn't load with water, and the kitchen stove wasn't working properly resulting in us being unable to cook some groceries we bought, and the lanai doors don't seal properly resulting in the living room typically being hotter/humid than other rooms. Again, the stay itself was comfortable and clean, just some nits given the price of the stay. Would stay again though”

“It is spacious and comfortable. It was not as walkable to the beach as we thought. It was not super clean but clean enough. We did appreciate that they had beach chairs and beach towels for us to use. We wished they had blankets for us to use in the living room and for all the beds. We also appreciated that all the rooms had their own AC. Overall all it was a nice stay.”

“The location was ok! I wish it was cleaner. Also while we were there we had no water for a couple of hours it was very strange.”

“We enjoyed our stay in Poipu. The condo is clean, with air conditioning, fans, and a lot of fun beach gear, which we appreciated. We also loved the swimming pool. The kitchen is nice, however, it is poorly stocked. For example, there isn't even a single spatula, there was only one flimsy cookie sheet, no electric griddle, and only one roll of paper towels provided for 6 days. We rent from Airbnb so we can cook many meals ourselves and when you're cooking for 7 there are basic kitchen supplies needed.”

“The unit itself was great, but I don’t foresee myself going through a brokerage rather than a family again. They also sent us generic messages and asked about our flight info. We sent it over thinking they’d try to accommodate an early check in but we got a LATE check in. Not only that, but they directed me to text another person/reception about checking in and we were told around 2pm that the unit wasn’t ready and they’d text us when it was. Check in is at 4pm so that’s fair. However, we ended up meeting some of our friends who were staying in the same condos as us and noticed that the unit we were waiting on had no one in it, and we kept our eye on the unit since we could see it from our friend’s place and it wasn’t until after 4pm but no one ever left the unit so it was clearly ready before 4pm but no one messaged us until AFTER 4pm. Then when the wifi wasn’t working, all they sent was “here is the wifi and password” I’d recommend renting through a local family and not a brokerage”
