“The place was clean and had a beautiful view. The provided beach chairs, umbrella, and beach towels were a really nice bonus. The unit is a little dated and could use a few updates, but didn’t take away from our stay. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.”

“Excellent location with great views. Condo is nice but not sure who manages it. I requested a late check out (with additional money) because our flight to the main land was late at night but zero response. Also, flew all day to get there and arrived 20 minutes early and the door code didn’t work until exactly check in time which I find extremely petty. Other than check in and communication, everything was fine.”

“Great Location and access, but the pictures do not represent the unit. We love staying at an Ocean front property and are happy to pay for that premium. However, the pictures they have posted are quite old as now over 60% of the ocean view is blocked by a tree and its palms. I understand that they may not have control over the grounds, but they should update the pictures,description, and cost. It is also very worn and evident it is an income property over a personal vacation property. Pros- It does have a comfortable bed and decent couch. The beach chairs, umbrella, and towels were nice. The unit was clean, just very worn with dirty walls and window coverings etc.”

“My time at Maalaea Surf resort was enjoyable. It was beautiful to wake up and only be a minute walk to the beach and enjoy the sound of the waves crashing. The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and had a few pantry stables which were nice. Rooms were big and comfy and the AC unit worked great. TV with movies and Netflix was an added bonus. However there’s were some cons with my stay here. 1. Floors were dirty 2. Lack of communication about the property. Closing times of laundry not posted. Hurricane precautions and power outages. 3. For the amount of paid, and the length of my stay, I feel like laundry should be included. I stayed for 7 nights and having to pay for laundry is ridiculous. Overall my stay was pleasant and would still recommend”
