Vacasa in Hanalei, Hawaii

“Beautiful house, well appointed with a fully stocked kitchen, great bath amenities and lovely touches from throw pillows to surfing books on the bookshelf. Right on the main drag in the middle of Hanalei, so it's an easy walk to all restaurants as well as the beach.”

“We liked this place! The home is exactly as pictured and described. It is in walking distance to everything in Hanalei town which is what we were looking for. The house is right on the main street, but we got used to the traffic noise and there was a sound machine in the primary bedroom. The lanai in the back looks out at the mountains and we had some great waterfalls that week! The beds were comfortable and lots of space to spread out. Could fit 3 couples with a few kids. Our only issue was with communication. There was no shower curtain in one of the bathrooms and it took them several days for someone to bring one. Also when we requested a late check-out, I needed to reach out several times before I finally got the answer. When you contact Vacasa, you get a service that then needs to reach the local team to assist with the requests, and they take days to respond. I couldn't speak directly with the local group, so this was a little frustrating for us.”

“This place was perfect for our group of 7 (2 grand parents, 2 parents and 3 kids ranging from toddlers to teens). The location is incredible for walking to Hanalei shops and, for us, an easy 10 minute walk to the beach. Be aware there is road noise due to being directly on the highway. That might bother some but it wasn’t an issue for us. The views of the mountains and the waterfall were breathtaking and made morning coffee feel magical on the back porch. The rooms are spacious and having dual masters was helpful for the adults. The AC in the rooms gets COLD and that’s coming from people visiting from Alaska. The beach amenities were awesome, especially the wagon to carry them all. My kids loved the outdoor shower to make sure all sand was off before entering the house. We had no issues with bugs, even after extensive use of the kitchen and grill. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to other families visiting!”

“Great location. Easy to walk to restaurants and stores. Beautiful view of mountains on back balcony. Centrally located to get to all the North Shore beaches and activities. Bedrooms are air conditioned, common areas and kitchen are not, but it was comfortable with all the windows open and a steady breeze. Definitely recommend”
