“This was our 3rd trip to Kauai and we really enjoy the north side of the island because of how quiet and lush the area is. We wanted a place big enough for the whole family, (our 2 adult children and their spouses). The home did not disappoint. It is set back from the road and there is a beach just across the street. We were even able to walk up to Tunnels Beach.”

“Our stay at Haena Place was perfect. The house was as pictured and described. We arrived to find the home clean and well equipped. The indoor space was nice and the outdoor living space was really nice. There were also a number of beach toys available. The home is a short walk to the beach (2 minutes) on a trail from the house. Snorkeling at Tunnels was great. The drive to Hanalei was easy and there were many nice shops and restaurants there. Makana Kauai Properties communicated with us prior to our arrival and during our stay. There are clear instructions about the home inside. We really enjoyed our time here!”

“Everything was found as advertised and it exceeded our expectations. We were looking for a place that could easily accommodate 2 - 3 couples with their own master bedroom and bath and this place was wonderful. We purchased our supplies for meals before arriving and found it well equipped with everything we needed to prepare all the meals. The washing machine and dryer had detergent available and we found it very handy after a few days of exploring. In summary, it exceeded our expectations and we would readily stay at this or another property managed by Makana Kauai Properties.”

“This home is truly magical. We spent countless hours hanging out on the lanai and soaking in the tranquil surroundings. There's even a peekaboo ocean view! We had the best time at this home and couldn't recommend it more. Whether you're traveling with family (including small children) or for a couples trip, we'd highly recommend staying here. You're a short walking distance to all of the shops and restaurants in Hanalei Bay and the beach. Can't wait to plan our next visit back!”
