“This was an absolute dream. It’s a close drive to Hanalei, our new favorite place in the world, and the best and most beautiful snorkeling beach in all of Kauai, if not Hawaii, is a 15 walk or two minute drive away. The beach right behind the house is just as good in our opinion. The little town of Haena that this is in has an exceptional coffee shop. The house is just perfect in every way. It looks even better than the photos. It was truly painful to leave at the end of our stay. We’d come back here in a heartbeat.”

“This property is amazing. We had 7 people in our party and the 2 living rooms and the lanai accommodated everyone. There was enough seating at all of the dining tables and living spaces to make it comfortable for all. The view from the lanai is amazing. The lot across the street has a large space between houses so the ocean view is unobstructed. We spent most of our time out there. The kitchen was huge and had absolutely everything we needed (and more). The walk to the beach took about 2 minutes and the walk to town for shopping and restaurants was less than 5 minutes. The location was perfect. If we go back next year I will try to rebook this same house. We had the best time!!!”

“This was our third time staying in this unit, we love it as a family with four adults and two young kids. Close to the pool, found some beach toys in the garage, the condo was super clean. We will definitely stay here again! Super nice touch with a fruit and coffee welcome basket for us and a beautiful bouquet of tropical flowers for us to enjoy all week. They definitely go the extra mile for their guests!”

“Our stay at Haena Place was perfect. The house was as pictured and described. We arrived to find the home clean and well equipped. The indoor space was nice and the outdoor living space was really nice. There were also a number of beach toys available. The home is a short walk to the beach (2 minutes) on a trail from the house. Snorkeling at Tunnels was great. The drive to Hanalei was easy and there were many nice shops and restaurants there. Makana Kauai Properties communicated with us prior to our arrival and during our stay. There are clear instructions about the home inside. We really enjoyed our time here!”

“Everything was found as advertised and it exceeded our expectations. We were looking for a place that could easily accommodate 2 - 3 couples with their own master bedroom and bath and this place was wonderful. We purchased our supplies for meals before arriving and found it well equipped with everything we needed to prepare all the meals. The washing machine and dryer had detergent available and we found it very handy after a few days of exploring. In summary, it exceeded our expectations and we would readily stay at this or another property managed by Makana Kauai Properties.”
