“This is an absolutely fantastic house, located near the beach and town…..we used the bikes every day for outings to the farmer’s market, restaurants, beach strolls and shopping. The house was beautifully stocked, comfortable, with scenic views to the mountains. We’ll be back!”

“We had a wonderful time as a family of five adults and three kids. Property had everything we needed including baby supplies like high chair, pack n play, beach toys and floaters. Even had sun shades for beach and snorkels. Loved the added touch of board games. Our family will definitely be back!”

“The cottage was adorable and well appointed. We had everything we needed including an amazing outdoor shower. I appreciated the proximity to the beach, beautiful design, fresh flowers upon arrival, beach toys, luxury soap in the bathroom. It was a dream cottage for our vacation. Hanalei isn't the sleepy little village it used to be, which was a disappointment but this house was perfection!!”

“We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful house, which was exactly as pictured. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped, and the tasteful decorations throughout the house made it feel warm and welcoming. The absolute highlight was the veranda, the perfect place to relax and unwind, surrounded by lush, tropical vegetation. It was truly a little oasis of peace. Communication with the property management was very friendly and everything went smoothly, including the check-in. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful and relaxing getaway!”

“Hi we stayed at this wonderful property for 4 nights in August 2026. The house(s) is beautifully designed and appointed. The master BR in the separate wing can be considered its own abode if you so desire. Make sure you take advantage of the various lanai around the house, especially if it rains. House had beach chairs, boogie boards, sunbrella, and was located near the beaches as described. The ONLY reason I gave check-in 4 stars is because there was no mobile reception for us at the house so we had to drive back towards Hanalei to download the welcome/entry email so this is more of an FYI rather than a critique. Once connected to the house wifi there were no issues - Makana Kauai Properties was incredibly easy to deal with and very responsive.”

“This was our third time staying in this unit, we love it as a family with four adults and two young kids. Close to the pool, found some beach toys in the garage, the condo was super clean. We will definitely stay here again! Super nice touch with a fruit and coffee welcome basket for us and a beautiful bouquet of tropical flowers for us to enjoy all week. They definitely go the extra mile for their guests!”
