“This was our 3rd trip to Kauai and we really enjoy the north side of the island because of how quiet and lush the area is. We wanted a place big enough for the whole family, (our 2 adult children and their spouses). The home did not disappoint. It is set back from the road and there is a beach just across the street. We were even able to walk up to Tunnels Beach.”

“AMAZING! Description and photos don’t do this property justice. I wish I had taken pictures before we got settled. It was absolutely beautiful. So peaceful and tranquil. We really wish we could’ve stayed longer! Definitely a place where having a rental car was valuable but the driving to and from was always beautiful. The only thing I wish I knew (or did better research on but not on the property at all) was that service was pretty spotty out here. Luckily the Airbnb had super fast WiFi but receiving calls sometimes didn’t happen which was a nice push to be more connected with the beautiful area. This Airbnb had everything you needed and more. We will definitely book again next time we visit Kaua’i. Can’t say enough good things about this property!!”

“We had an amazing 10-night stay with our family of eight. The home is absolutely beautiful—better than the photos—and very spacious, with thoughtful details throughout. The master suite and spa-like bathroom were a highlight, and all the bedrooms were comfortable. The kids loved having TVs in their rooms. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, which made it perfect to come back to after busy days. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed, including plenty of towels, beach gear, and a well-equipped kitchen. Having two washers and dryers was a huge bonus. Makana was a great host—very responsive and accommodating, even when a garage issue from previous guests came up. It didn’t impact our stay at all. We would absolutely stay again and highly recommend this home. Easily a 5-star stay—would give 10 stars if we could!”

“Hale Haena Kai was in such a beautiful setting; removed from crowds and peaceful but close enough to walk to the beach and see the sunrise each morning! the home is beautiful with plenty of space, we especially enjoyed the lanai! the management was very responsive when we needed help with a couple of items! Brittany was especially sweet and gave us some local recommendations for where to find sea turtles. we had a great time!”
