“This lake house was just what we were looking for. Communication was strong. Once we arrived, we didn’t leave. Enjoyed the lake and dock each day and were happy to find really nice beach towels for our use. The dock is situated perfectly to give shade for getting out of the sun or setting up a chair to relax. We loved the tubes for swimming and used the kayak. The house was very clean and had great gathering spaces. The screened porch was especially nice. The beds were all comfortable and felt like they had been made up with hospitality in mind. We’ve stayed in a lot of Airbnbs, and this one was probably the most thoughtful of all of them in the way the kitchen was stocked and other details had been thought of. Made sweet memories with our family and would love to return.”

“The place was BEAUTIFUL! I wish the water levels were higher so we could use the kayaks and fish but that’s on Mother Nature. Place was SO clean, beds comfortable, plenty of room for our family of 6. We had fun playing pool, enjoying the hot tub and playing games they have at the cabin. Kitchen pans and items were very nice too! Beautiful 196’ waterfall nearby (Taccoa Falls). Tubing in Helen was SO fun and a cute place to visit. Mexican place nearby was great and Ingles for groceries. Host/Company was very responsive. Would come back for sure.”

“We had a wonderful time. Nice, peaceful location which was a little difficult to find but mostly due to "user error" and our host was very attentive which helped. The cabin was spacious, clean and well furnished. We enjoyed the home theater and had family movie nights frequently during our stay. The lake was low which was a little disappointing, but we were notified a week earlier by our host with up to date pictures of the lake from the dock. We were given the option to cancel, but we decided to keep our reservation and I am glad we did. It took a little bit of effort and a mud bath to get the kayaks out into the water, but we had a ball once we got going. During the week we had plenty of wildlife encounters, deer almost daily, but the highlight for me was walking up on a good sized bear on our last afternoon. Great trip!”
