“This home was exactly what we needed for an anniversary getaway. It is exactly as shown in the listing and the owners were proactive in making sure we arrived and settled in okay. We enjoyed the kayaks for some adventure, paddling around Lake Hartwell and taking in all the views. We even found a shoreline to an unoccupied “island” that we were able to explore. Back at the home, the hot tub and hammock were great to recoup from the activities. Although there are houses on both sides of home, it still feels very private and secluded. There is a Walmart close enough to pick up groceries to carry back to the home. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary items to make meals for the few days we were there. I would suggest visitors bring flip flops or water shoes if they are wanting to walk down to the shoreline/dock. There are pavers most of the way but depending on water level you may need to walk through a little rough terrain for bare feet. Overall, we would definitely visit again!”

“We absolutely loved our stay here! This was honestly one of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed at. The house was beautiful and so cozy, and the kitchen had pretty much everything we could’ve needed. The backyard was probably one of our favorite parts. We loved having the kayaks and paddle boards, and it was so peaceful sitting outside and listening to all the birds. The hot tub was perfect too! And the beds were SO comfortable, everyone slept really well, which is always a plus with a big group. The hosts were also amazing with communication. They always reached out first to make sure we had everything we needed and even sent helpful instructions, like how to use the fireplace. I’ve honestly never had a host be so proactive, and it made everything really easy! We had no major issues at all, and all 13 of us said we’d definitely come back. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend this place!”
