Lighthouse Vacations reviews in Georgia

“The setting and view are definitely the highlight of this property. The exterior has a beautiful Italian-villa feel, and the large covered veranda offers gorgeous views of the water, Jekyll Island, and the bridge. The interior, however, feels quite dark and dated, with older furnishings, décor, and lighting. Overall, the view and outdoor setting are beautiful, but the interior could use a significant refresh.”

“Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Salty Goose and would definitely rent this home again! • The house is an easy, 2-minute walk to the 3rd Street beach access, making trips to the sand incredibly convenient. • The outdoor dining area is fantastic and comfortably seats more than 15 people, which was perfect for our group gatherings. It is a beautiful historic beach house that easily accommodated everyone with its spacious 5 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms • Because the home was previously divided into two separate units, one of the upstairs bedrooms and one of the downstairs bedrooms feature exterior doors. While this might be a plus for some, it made us a little uncomfortable with children and teenagers sleeping in those specific rooms. • The kitchen cookware is functional but could benefit from a modern update. Despite these minor details, the location, space, and charm made for an amazing vacation on St. Simons Island!”

“Great location and very convenient”

“Plenty of living space for a group to enjoy and easy walking to the beach! About a mile to the Village so very little need for the car!”

“Great house and perfect location to enjoy St. Simons! The home comfortably slept 7 adults and a baby. We also loved being able yo walk to restaurants, shops, and the pier. We will definitely be back soon. Super hosts. Thank you!”
