If I had any questions Ryan & Alex were very responsive. The home was tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. Easily accessible to the downtown area and minutes from the grocery store.”

“PERFECT location and lovely accommodations! The condo was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. Super comfy king size bed was good to fall into after a day of biking and walking around the island. Given all the fabulous restaurants on SSI, we barely used the kitchen, though it appeared to be well stocked with cooking and eating utensils. The building is quiet and easy to access. Ryan is an excellent host and communicator. Highly recommend!!”

“the house was as described. fully equipped to stay home and cook. quiet my only problem was getting to the beach. saw many younger make it fine. it was a chore for my wife and myself. but it is absolutely possible we may return during the off season. thks Dave”

“I can’t recommend this property for families with young kids based on pool safety. The only measure was an alarm. Additionally we had a lot of communication frustrations.”

“Southern Whipoorwill was beautiful. The home and location were outstanding. However, I was disappointed with our interaction with the management. The communication was poor and a few of the amenities shown in photos could not be used or were not working. Despite these few issues, we were not disappointed with our visit. We would definitely return. The home was decorated beautifully with care and thought and the location to the beach was perfect. The kitchen offered everything we needed and more. The sun room was our favorite spot to relax and enjoy the outdoor landscape.”

“My elderly parents loved the place. The view was absolutely amazing. I would stay again. My issue was with maintenance. The filtered water (as a previous guest mentioned) apparently hasn’t been fixed. I reported it, was told someone was coming but didn’t. It wasn’t a big deal because we just went out and bought bottled water BUT nobody ever apologized, said what happened, nothing. I can’t imagine if this had been a major issue such as the air and the issue was just dismissed. There are a few issues with the plumbing (it’s an older house so it’s expected), water puddled on the floor from one toilet and some were slow to “go down “. Overall, I would have given it 5 stars, but the lack of responsiveness to maintenance made me a little nervous especially since my parents are elderly and if something like the elevator went out, it would have been very difficult.”
