“This place is well off the beaten path; so secluded and peaceful. Tucked back in the deep woods, it is so quiet and peaceful, hearing only the wildlife. The interior is quite fitting as it appears like the inside of a log cabin. There is so much space inside and three bathrooms are a plus. We came to town to work with Decade Day's Christmas in a Small Town, and so we were very busy at locations in Dahlonega. Wish we had more time to just hang out at the cabin. Only negative aspect was that the single lane road back into this place was blocked, but only briefly, by a fallen tree from severe storm during the night. The local residents must experience this periodically as they were out with their chain saws early to clear the lane (in about 20 min, I might add.) We would definitely stay here again.”

“This is a beautiful, unique house secluded in the hillside near Dahlonega, GA. Easy access to the town. The home is functionally complete and with a breathtaking interior.”

“The home And location was very beautiful if you like to be way out in the woods with nothing around. The drive back to the house is a little scary as road are very narrow and no type of guardrails or anything to prevent you from going over. Don’t recommend driving a large vehicle. I had a Bronco and it barely made the curves. Host was amazing. As advised by host be sure to bring extra toiletries.”

“The place was nice. They accommodated us last minute, but there were a few problems like no instructions for getting the fireplaces started or correct login information for the WiFi. Host was very helpful and friendly over the phone. We had to leave early because they could not provide hot water which lead to some frustration in charges.”
