“Stayed here for a long weekend, and it was so serene and peaceful. It was very easy to find and get to downtown. The check-in and checkout was very simple and easy for us!! Was a beautiful cabin and we would stay here again!!”

“We had such a wonderful stay at Chasing Fireflies! The house was cozy and well-equipped, just perfect for my family and our dogs. We really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub each night looking at the beautiful White Oaks and listening to the tree frogs. The weather was unpredictable that weekend, making a day hike to one of the more popular trails almost impossible. Lucky for us, we discovered a nearby hiking/biking park only 7 minutes from the cabin - Fighting Town Nature Preserve. It allowed us to "wear out" or dogs prior to exploring the area. The cabin is also perfectly located between Blue Ridge and McCaysville, with Mercier Orchards just a few minutes away! The hosts provided clear information about the cabin and were always responsive. We will most definitely return (with our mountain bikes) and recommend to our friends and family.”

“I think this property has risen to our family favorite. It was clean, exactly as described, and it was so thoughtfully put together. From the toilet paper to the cooking utensils, the items stocked were high quality. The furniture was comfortable, the scenery was beautiful, and the road to cabin and the driveway were easily managed (roads to cabins often make me very anxious). We always look for a place that we don't mind leaving for a week and this place was perfect; we had great space and entertainment to spend time together (pro-tip that took us way too long to think of...bring the folding chairs over to the touch screen table), but we also had plenty of room to spread out and do our own thing. It really was the perfect place.”

“We had a great stay at Catching Fireflies. The location was convenient to downtown Blue Ridge, Elijay and McCaysville. We also made a trip out to Helen, which was about an hour. We loved soaking in the hot tub - especially after hiking. The cabin was cozy and had everything we needed for our stay. While we didn’t use the game room, it was exactly as pictured. There were only 2 of us but it would have been comfortable for 6. We highly recommend this cabin!”
