“We stayed a few nights and enjoyed every minute. The condo is right on the beach with a stunning view of the emerald ocean. This location is so close to many delicious restaurants and attractions for the whole family. The Hosts were incredibly attentive to any need we had and responded quickly to any questions we had. I would definitely come back to stay here.”

The home is beautiful and spacious with room for entertainment. We also enjoyed the close public beach access as well as access to the hot tub! “Super simple to rent. It was perfect to combine two families to stay at one place. The hot tub was the cherry on top of a beautiful place to stay. They also added a twin size bed that was not advertised and that worked perfectly for my 10 year old. I originally thought he was going to have to stay on the pull out couch but we didn’t use it. It slept 4 adults 3 kids and one baby perfectly! Our only wish was that they stocked the firewood for the fire pit but it seems like all the locals sell a bundle for $5. Very easy to find wood!”

“Beautiful home, and just as described. From the moment we booked, we already felt welcomed. It was easy to find the home and get into the community. The staff communicated via email, text, and through the app. The home was clean and nicely decorated, and even provided amenities such as soap, detergent, towels, towels for the beach, paper towels, toilet paper, and little soaps. All the rooms were equipped with a tv, some only had cable (COX) and the others had access to streaming services. The beds were comfy and space felt big enough for 8 people and a toddler. The A/C worked great all throughout the stay, which was perfect for the heat. I also enjoyed that they had a pop up playpen and a high chair available, we didn’t use them but it was nice to have those options. The location was good too. Surrounded by many chain restaurants and local restaurants. 5 minute drive to James Lee Park beach access with parking. The pool was also great! Heated and open till 10 p.m.”

“Stayed here for a long weekend, and it was so serene and peaceful. It was very easy to find and get to downtown. The check-in and checkout was very simple and easy for us!! Was a beautiful cabin and we would stay here again!!”

“We had an amazing stay at this beach house! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location was perfect—just a short walk or ride to the beach with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. The host was friendly, responsive, and made the entire experience seamless from check-in to check-out. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a beach vacation. We'd love to come back!”

“This place is fantastic. Great location and view with plenty of peace and quiet, but also plenty to do. Hosts were extremely communicative (even late at night, because I clearly couldn't/didn't read overly-clear instructions they sent me in the original check-in email) My bad!! My only regret is only staying for one night and not being able to enjoy all amenities and especially the beautiful sauna too. Highly recommend!! One quick note... when putting the address in Apple maps, be careful. It told us to turn off Rockwood Road on to Powers Road. This takes you to the backside of an adjacent property. Be sure to turn off on to Village Rd and follow that down to Lake St instead.”

“We had such a wonderful stay at Chasing Fireflies! The house was cozy and well-equipped, just perfect for my family and our dogs. We really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub each night looking at the beautiful White Oaks and listening to the tree frogs. The weather was unpredictable that weekend, making a day hike to one of the more popular trails almost impossible. Lucky for us, we discovered a nearby hiking/biking park only 7 minutes from the cabin - Fighting Town Nature Preserve. It allowed us to "wear out" or dogs prior to exploring the area. The cabin is also perfectly located between Blue Ridge and McCaysville, with Mercier Orchards just a few minutes away! The hosts provided clear information about the cabin and were always responsive. We will most definitely return (with our mountain bikes) and recommend to our friends and family.”

“Fantastic property that was exactly as described! It was the perfect place for our week-long stay with three families attending a softball tournament. The home was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of space for everyone. The host was incredibly friendly, extremely responsive, and provided all the information we needed to make our stay seamless from start to finish. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great place to stay!”
