“horrible checked in started to get stuffed unpacked and started to see mice droppings and they were everywhere there wasn't a place that didn't have mice droppings called the property management and all they could say is sorry for your convenience but will put a work order for housekeeping I said what will housekeeping do and they said to clean mouse droppings and I said that isn't going to fix the infestation problem they didn't say hey will get pest control out all they kept saying sorry for your inconvenience so my husband said let's just see if they can refund or set us up somewhere but really in his heart he didn't because this place describes the few days here in blue ridge that he wanted to do is FISH so this place describes fishing out your front door went to sleep and mice started to eat our grocery so got up and left and no refund please don't rent”

“This place was awesome! It was a bit intimidating driving down the single lane, dirt road but once you came into the clearing and pulled into the drive way it was just amazing. So peaceful and so secluded out in the woods. The house was perfectly laid out for all of my guests with plenty of amenities to meet all of our needs. The hot tub was a great addition for the rainy day that we had as well. The lift up and down to the dock was helpful but only being able to take one person at a time did make the process a bit time consuming. However it was so worth it because the views from the dock were hard to beat and the lake was beautiful. Absolutely would come back here in a heartbeat”

“Not pleased with communication. We lost a day for our guest because the rental company had no idea where the key was for the bedroom over the garage. We had to tell our guest to not come till the next day because we had no place for them to sleep. One of the other bedrooms had a leak fr the rain. The bedroom on the lower floors bathroom door had a barn door with no track stopper so be careful door will come off track. Pool table sticks unusable except one. Over all I was not happy with condition of this home. But it was pretty. Just not taken care of.”
