We ended our trip early because the kids were bored because the amenities this house said it had were broken. The arcade game doesn’t work, jacuzzi didn’t heat up and even if it did it had A LOT of bugs in it, while the air hockey table did work the porch was very dirty and had spiders so didn’t feel comfortable sitting out there. There are also no window coverings in the master bathroom or bedroom. There are large windows right in front of the shower and you can see another house out the windows. When I asked for window coverings so we could shower they had someone come and put towels over the windows with thumbtacks. All that to find out the hot water was pretty nonexistent up there and the showers were COLD. It also needs to be noted the AC is finicky. If you need to adjust it you can only go 3 degrees PER HOUR or it will freeze the unit and you will have to pay for it being broken. My teens ended up leaving and staying with a friend at a nearby house which was a huge bummer.

We had a great time at Hidden Haven and would definitely recommend it. This isn’t a complaint—just a couple of suggestions that could make an already wonderful stay even better. It would be a great idea to add a curtain in the upstairs bathroom, as people outside can see in when the lights are on. Also, adding a set of pots, pans, and serving spoons would be very helpful. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and these small touches would make a big difference.

The 2 of the 3 back doors do not lock. Saw previous reviews that this was a problem from 2023. Thought they would have fixed by now. It was a little chilly and we needed heat, did not trust the extensions cords mess to the fire place. We turned on the heat and that did not get above 65 degrees. We had to buy space heaters. If we had not made plans to do family gatherings we would have just left. It was like a cheap motel. The cabin is not well winterized for those to visit during Christmas through New Year’s. The porch furniture was moldy. The carpets were stained in the newly remodeled bedroom. There are extension cords to power the living room due to most of the sockets were not working. It was nothing to pay this kind of money for. It would be better if they advertised what is now rather than the first year they started.

This was a nice cabin with modern finishes! It’s well maintained and very spacious! The company was easy to contact and helpful when we needed anything. The only thing two things to keep in mind is that the front door was very difficult to open and close due to it scraping against the flooring and that there are no curtains anywhere. The place has beautiful large windows allowing for a lot of natural light; however, there are no curtains in private spaces like the bedrooms and bathrooms. So any other guest casually walking on the back deck can easily see into the bedrooms and bathroom.
