Georgia Cabins for You's guest rating of 4.66 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Air conditioning did not work. We cannot get the fireplace to work. There were two different sets of instructions. He can’t open the kitchen drawers without hitting the stove no smart TVs just needs updates.”airbnb

“We enjoyed our stay at Bar 5 cabin. It was really pretty and had plenty of amenities.”airbnb

“This was kind of a last minute find. And it was definitely a lower cost than many other comparable nearby. Entry code was not clearly communicated - and was difficult to figure out. Upon entry, found a lot of active spiders in living area and bedroom. And dirt/dead bugs in several places in the home. Called host to request early departure and at least a partial refund. That was denied. Only solution offered over the phone was for a crew to come in, clean and exterminate... while we were staying. Found a different place to stay for the weekend.”airbnb

“The place was great, however there was only one roll of TP in each bathroom, no extra. No additional trash bags, no laundry detergent, and there were ants in the living room. The TV upstairs did not work, and my guests reported that bedding may not have been washed.”airbnb

“The property was very beautiful, deep in the forest, and the river was in the backyard. The inside of the cabin was very beautiful, we enjoyed the pool table, playing board games, playing in the river, walking in the mountains. Before we arrived we were told that we should receive a code to go into the cabin at least 30 min prior to the check in, but we received the code an hour late, and only after we contacted them for the code. The driveway had a very steep grade incline and we had a lot of trouble getting in and out of it, especially after it had rained every single day. We contacted Jenny to see if she can offer any accommodations and she wasn't willing to even try to help us out. The stress of getting in and out safely from the property made it hard to enjoy the rest of our vacation.”airbnb

“My stay started out ok besides not being private like I expected from the photos. My son started complaining about itching then my wife then me. Idk if there are fleas from it being a pet friendly cabin or if they had bed bugs but me and my family will be washing all of or clothes if not throwing them away. Very bad experience would not recommend.”airbnb

“We ended our trip early because the kids were bored because the amenities this house said it had were broken. The arcade game doesn’t work, jacuzzi didn’t heat up and even if it did it had A LOT of bugs in it, while the air hockey table did work the porch was very dirty and had spiders so didn’t feel comfortable sitting out there. There are also no window coverings in the master bathroom or bedroom. There are large windows right in front of the shower and you can see another house out the windows. When I asked for window coverings so we could shower they had someone come and put towels over the windows with thumbtacks. All that to find out the hot water was pretty nonexistent up there and the showers were COLD. It also needs to be noted the AC is finicky. If you need to adjust it you can only go 3 degrees PER HOUR or it will freeze the unit and you will have to pay for it being broken. My teens ended up leaving and staying with a friend at a nearby house which was a huge bummer.”airbnb

“The property is beautiful but unfortunately is managed by a unprofessional rental company. My infant child and I were locked out a day early after returning from dinner. We were left in the cold and dark where there is no signal. I called the emergency number and contacted the host multiple times with no response. My baby sat hungry in a wet diaper so long I had to go to a fire station for help! I understand mistakes happen but I still have yet to hear back from the host. The firefighters are the only reason we got back into the property. This was a safety issue and very scary for a mother….a sorry would have been nice.”airbnb

“The cabin has a beautiful setting and river view, but our stay was significantly impacted by a major plumbing issue. For much of our stay, we were without reliable water, flushing toilets, or showers, and there was an active leak from an upstairs toilet into the kitchen below. We kept the host/rental agency updated as the issues became clear and were told repairs would be addressed the following day. During that time, not having water made it very difficult to enjoy the property. Communication during the process was limited, and we spent much of the day unsure when the cabin would be fully usable again. The plumbing was eventually repaired. The beds were comfortable and the wraparound porch is very nice; however, several amenities were not functioning properly, including the living room fireplace. The location itself is lovely, but due to the major plumbing issues and communication challenges, the overall experience did not meet expectations.”airbnb

“The 2 of the 3 back doors do not lock. Saw previous reviews that this was a problem from 2023. Thought they would have fixed by now. It was a little chilly and we needed heat, did not trust the extensions cords mess to the fire place. We turned on the heat and that did not get above 65 degrees. We had to buy space heaters. If we had not made plans to do family gatherings we would have just left. It was like a cheap motel. The cabin is not well winterized for those to visit during Christmas through New Year’s. The porch furniture was moldy. The carpets were stained in the newly remodeled bedroom. There are extension cords to power the living room due to most of the sockets were not working. It was nothing to pay this kind of money for. It would be better if they advertised what is now rather than the first year they started.”airbnb
