“Beautiful home in a friendly neighborhood. It surpassed our expectations. So comfortable and welcoming. The nicest place we’ve ever stayed. The management company was very friendly and helpful. We stayed 10 days without a car and no regrets. The location was perfect with just a 5-10 minute walk to the beach. Siesta village was a little over a mile away an easy walk by road, beach, or bike riding (bikes were provided for us). There’s a free trolley that goes to town every 20-30 minutes. It also goes to the Southside Village and downtown Sarasota. There are stops by the Siesta Market, Aldi, and the Gourmet Market in Southside Village if you need groceries . It’s worth just riding the trolley to get the lay of the land and see where it can take you. Uber was very easy for places further away like the Ringling Museum and mansion, which we highly recommend. We would definitely stay at the Happy Dolphin again.”
