“Master bedroom has a faint order of cigarette smell. Also front bedroom where the kids were sleeping at floor was sticky and it had hands. I also reported to the host besides that everything else was perfectly fine. Was able to find location. The host treat very well. All the other areas were very nice game room is very nice as well. The only thing master bedroom does have a smell not OK besides everything is fine.”

“Unfortunately, our experience with this property was very disappointing, especially considering the size of our group and the amount we paid. We experienced numerous issues during our stay. There was no hot water on the bottom level, a toilet that did not flush properly, multiple slow drains, an unpleasant odor, pest activity, and significant cleanliness concerns. The walls throughout the home were dirty and noticeably scuffed. We also reported dark discoloration around the shower sealant, which management stated was age-related discoloration rather than mold and was already scheduled to be replaced. Management did send a maintenance technician, but unfortunately, the visit was not helpful. We also complained about the temperature inside the home. The technician stated that the house felt cool, but during the daytime the home was very hot and did not become comfortably cool until the middle of the night. We actually had to go out and purchase fans to make the temperature more tolerab”

“Nice condo, but the check-in process was frustrating. We waited after an 8-hour drive while uploading IDs, communication was delayed, and several maintenance/cleanliness issues affected our stay. Broken dryer. Bare linens and toilet paper ( we ran out after first night). Dish soap was just colored water. Overall, it could have been a much better experience.”

“FILTHY APARTMENT & HORRIBLE HOST - BEWARE. We found dirty floors, stained bedsheets, food stains on carpet, marks on the walls and what appeared to be dead skin & debris on the floor. Host sent cleaners round twice & it was still dirty. We sent photos to Airbnb and were refunded the cleaning fee. At 11pm that night, the host messaged asking us to leave the next day. No reason given, just quoted Florida law & said he can kick us out if he wants. We later learned the host claimed to Airbnb that we had "abused his staff", despite us never having met or spoken to any ‘staff’. no evidence was provided to support this ridiculous allegation. We had to move our young family with five nights remaining on our booking. Airbnb refunded the unused nights and reimbursed our replacement accommodation. Safe to say I’d stay well away from Shine Villas (not just this apartment). I recommend looking at reviews for ‘Shine Villas Orlando’ on trip advisor / trust pilot to make your own judgement.”

“Listing stated 8 beds, when we got there, home had 6 beds. Messaged host and she said there's 7 then 6. Then said there must be a miscommunication as listing shows 6 beds. She changed it and try to make it seem like I booked it on error and didn't want to bring another bed or cancel reservation. Airbnb got involved and helped me cancel as it was false advertising. Be careful with this host as not only is misleading but doesn't own up to mistakes or try to make things right. Very poorly handled. I understand we all make mistakes including myself but as a business owner you should do better.”
