“Home and the location were great, however, the closest beach boardwalk advertised in the listing was actually closed starting June 2nd so you’re forced to go down to the next public entrance. Not terrible but would’ve appreciated a heads up from the host. Additionally, if you’re planning on cooking, make sure to stop by a grocery store and get all the basics like salt, pepper, oils, etc. Outside of those two things, the home was great and in an awesome neighborhood/location. Would still recommend!”

“The house was as described and as expected. A good location if you are wanting beach and pool access. Was surprised at how much traffic is on the road going into this neighborhood, but that is to be expected on a neighborhood with one way in and one way out. The house was comfortable for five adults and one infant. The weather was nice enough to use the screen porch on the front of the house, one of my favorite places to sit. I was able to contact southern vacation rentals by Phone and they were very helpful. The next time I needed to know the new gate code for beach access, the response was fairly slow and they never fully answered my request. If you plan on sitting at the beach, use the public access points, where you have room to set up your chairs and umbrella. The private sections of beach by the private beach access is controlled by the condo units on either side and they have beach chair, vendor, setting up, blocking the beach on that stretch of sand. Wish they had a gas grill.”

“The condo was in a perfect location. Very spacious & pretty clean. For a location so close to the beach I would have thought there would be some sort of beach towels provided. We had to buy our own beach towels. We also did not know that there were beach chairs in the closet until our last day. There were only 2 rolls of toilet paper so we had to also purchase toilet paper. I’ve never stayed somewhere where there was not at least a couple days worth of paper products/toilet paper. I communicated via Airbnb that we wanted late check out about a month before our stay. They messaged saying we needed to reach out to “customer support”. Then when we got to our stay I called the customer support number and they said we needed to request late checkout at least 48 hours in advance. We had and evening flight and wanted a bit more time in the condo. The condo was available for us to rent another night last minute but we were unable to get the late check out. This was super frustrating.”

“I absolutely loved this spot! Having the porch was soo nice and it’s an easy walk to everything in Alys and Rosemary beach as well as the beach access. Plenty of Parking as well. Will definitely be booking this stay again soon!”
