“We absolutely loved our stay at Shorewood! The location was perfect—close to everything while still feeling peaceful and private. One of our favorite parts was being able to hop on our bikes and ride just about everywhere on the island. The bike paths made it so easy to explore, grab ice cream, visit shops, and just enjoy Sanibel without having to get in the car. Having private access to the beach was another huge plus. We spent so much time walking the beach, collecting shells, fishing, and enjoying the water. It was so nice being able to walk right out to the beach whenever we wanted. Shorewood was a wonderful home base for our Sanibel vacation, especially for a family wanting to enjoy the beach and explore the island by bike. We made so many great memories here and would absolutely stay again!”

“This place is simply amazing, clean, convenient, and right on the beach. The screened porch makes it even better to watch an afternoon storm, where you can still sit back and enjoy the ocean from a distance; the views are amazing, and listening to the rain come down during an afternoon or evening storm on the beach is so peaceful. Not that we had many, but we did have a few storms. Most of our stay was sunshine and lots of rainbows, not to mention beautiful sunsets and sunrises. This place is exactly as they describe and even better in my opinion. This was our first time on Sanibel, but it definitely won't be our last; we will definitely stay here again. I really loved that they had a festive dish set, and we took advantage of it and had a Mexican night with fajitas. I ordered from the local Publix just across the causeway and had it delivered through Instacart, which was very convenient. From the minute we walked through the door, we didn't want to leave.”

“This condo is quietly perfect. An end unit, so there's more sunlight. Ground floor and steps from the beach access. A well-equipped kitchen, including a freezer ready with lots of beautiful ice. Good reading lights beside sofas and beds. Bed linens were all 100% cotton and laundered with unscented detergent. A full-length mirror in the master bedroom. Note: the showers were narrow which might be difficult for larger individuals.”

“This has been our favorite beach condo stay as a family of 6. If you like to cook, this is the place as well. The brand new kitchen is undersold with an induction cooktop, convection oven, and all types of pots, pans, mixing bowls, knives, and utensils you could possibly need. Not to mention blenders and a toaster oven. Other condos we have stayed at you’re lucky to find one or two decent pans, one terrible knife. Also, this first floor unit is just steps away from 3 of the community grills. Plan to hit up the Publix on your way in, then save some money and time and cook your own delicious meals during your stay. Beautifully furnished with comfortable seating and bedding, very nice TV and sound system, and fast internet. This unit is also very close to the beach, so bouncing back and forth if you forget something or need a break is stress free and quick. We can’t wait to come back!”

“The location is great. The apt looks like the photos. It’s clean. There were a few things that could be a bit better. For one thing, the primary bedroom does not get very cooled down by the AC. After two days of trying to get them to fix this with some very poor communication from glass casa - they did send someone but told me that there was nothing they could do about it. That room just gets too heated up by its location. The AC blows cold air, but the room certainly does not get cold. The middle room does get much colder. The middle room has a queen vs the primary which has a king bed. The third room with twin beds also seemed to be warmer. But the living room kitchen area was as cool as needed. The kitchen had pots and pans that had the teflon all scratched up which is not good. But they had most things needed in kitchen and promptly brought me a can opener when I asked for one. Great shelling right in back of the condo which we loved. Would considering staying there Again.”
