Glass Casa's guest rating of 4.74 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Our stay at Glass Casa was just right! The ground level entrance with a view of the pool and the Gulf was beautiful. The host was easy to communicate with, and answered questions quickly. The home came with all the items for a relaxing stay at the beach and was close to everything on the island. the best shells I found were found right at the beach in front of the Airbnb. I look forward to staying here again.”airbnb

“Our family of 6 stayed here for spring break and couldn’t have asked for a better week. The pool was very newly renovated, and the beach was a short distance. We did bring our beach wagon which was helpful since the unit is in back unit. It came with 4 chairs and umbrella which was super helpful! The unit was clean and had all the things we needed for a relaxing week. (Don’t forget your bug spray, the No See Ums were bad during twilight hours!) We rode our bikes to Jerry’s (grocery), a beach store, ice cream shop, Sanibel coffee (and breakfast, and a playground. There are beautiful nature preserves on the island too!”airbnb

“We had a really nice stay overall. The home is beautiful, the views are stunning, and everything looked just like the photos. The pool, hot tub, and indoor/outdoor setup were all great, and the space felt comfortable and well kept. My only feedback for the host would be around basic essentials. When staying at an Airbnb—especially at this price point—you typically expect things like paper towels, garbage bags, coffee filters, salt and pepper, dishwasher pods, laundry detergent, and beach towels. There was very limited supply (only enough for about half a day), and no cleaning products, which made things a bit inconvenient—especially arriving at night and having to go back out the next day to buy everything. It’s not about cost, but convenience—those small details make a big difference and are usually standard in most Airbnbs. That said, the property itself is beautiful and we enjoyed our stay. I would recommend it—just be prepared to bring or purchase some of the basic househ items.”airbnb

“We liked our stay but I thought the price for the quality of the rehabbed condo was too high. They didn’t have any bikes to use and some specific kitchen items. The shower curtain was moldy, the bedroom carpet was old and quite dirty. The bedroom didn’t have an operating widow to see outside or get air. The one burner on the stove top (electric) did not work. A few of the electrical outlets did not work ( the lanai was one) we weren’t allowed a later check out and my daughter is pregnant and was not feeling great so that didn’t help us at all. I left the place extremely clean. The view was amazing, even with high sand burm. The noise level there is high, the walks are very this( older construction)… lots of slamming doors and noise in hallways. The mucky duck is a winner as usual. :)”airbnb

“We had contacted host regarding several issues. Host very responsive. Note, beach towels are not provided, nor any extra spices, baggies, shampoo/conditioner, body wash, etc that are normally supplied. Living room furniture and kitchen chairs and barstools need to be updated. Golf cart is only a 4 seater, which is noted, however, for the size of the house, a 6 seater would be ideal. House was clean. We didn't use the back outdoor patio area furniture/table as we would have had to clean it prior to using. Beds and bedding were comfortable. Appreciated the pool and toys, outdoor grill.”airbnb

“Condo itself was spacious and comfortable. All the comforts of home, including a great kitchen with modern appliances and every cooking accessory imaginable. Location is ideal with well functioning gas barbecues and the pool right outside the back door of the screened lanai. White soft sand beach and ocean visible from the lanai and steps away with great shelling. Always available beach and pool lounge chairs, such that one never has been reserved early. It’s nice that the complex doesn’t have a food venue or bar as that keeps it chill and uncrowded, yet one can walk down the beach to Casa Ybel for drinks or a light meal or drive/bike to several good food venues within a mile. CVS and Jerry’s gourmet grocery store close too as was kayaking in Tarpon Bay and the national wildlife refuge drive.”airbnb

“This beachside condo was exactly what we wanted, steps to the beach steps to a pool. Close to coffee shop , activities, restaurants, yet as relaxing as you want it to be listen to the waves and look at shells. You can make your stay here as relaxing or as active as you want it to be and then you return to a beautiful condo on the ocean.”airbnb
