Glass Casa

“The location is great. The apt looks like the photos. It’s clean. There were a few things that could be a bit better. For one thing, the primary bedroom does not get very cooled down by the AC. After two days of trying to get them to fix this with some very poor communication from glass casa - they did send someone but told me that there was nothing they could do about it. That room just gets too heated up by its location. The AC blows cold air, but the room certainly does not get cold. The middle room does get much colder. The middle room has a queen vs the primary which has a king bed. The third room with twin beds also seemed to be warmer. But the living room kitchen area was as cool as needed. The kitchen had pots and pans that had the teflon all scratched up which is not good. But they had most things needed in kitchen and promptly brought me a can opener when I asked for one. Great shelling right in back of the condo which we loved. Would considering staying there Again.”

“Overall we had a wonderful vacation with our family but I will never stay at a Glass Casa property again. I am not one to complain but this was the most difficult Airbnb! We had a different issue almost everyday. I’ve never had so many problems with renting a property. With the amount of money spent on this type of property and vacation it should be much easier with more professional management. We were all very dissatisfied. We are very appreciative of the help they gave when problems arose but they could’ve been avoided. My review is too long to post. The private beach access does not allow beach tents and you must be behind the rentable beach chairs. The beds were very uncomfortable. Nothing was easy. I’m not sure if they are managing too many properties or if too many people are managing one property. I had multiple people who would message me back via Airbnb messages and contradict each other. Very unprofessional and slow communication.”

“This was a great place to stay with a layout that worked very well for our family! We had plenty of room and loved having two sets of washers and dryers. The included golf cart and beach gear was huge plus! Great location to the beach.”

“The home was beautiful, spacious, clean, and allowed pets. The communication of information from Glass Casa was terrible. We did not know the codes needed to access the community, and amenities. I did not get accurate information until the next evening. They were asking about when I would check out before I even got all the info I needed to access their property and amenities. They did send services out to fix the missing bike seat and check the washing machine that made a lot of noise. Also the site says we get access to a private beach and needed bands but again the person responding said we did not need. They ended up giving us bands the next evening after we had already been to the public beach. Again the home itself, and amenities make this an amazing place to stay if all of them are accessible. It was the communication and lack of information that made the trip frustrating. Also there was no guest book for reference.”

“We had a great vacation overall, but it got off to a frustrating start. We didn’t receive the check-in instructions until about two hours after we arrived to the condo (around 8pm) despite multiple attempts to contact the host, which delayed the beginning of our trip. Once we got into the condo, our experience improved significantly. The unit was clean, spacious, well stocked, and everything worked well throughout our stay. The location was excellent, and the direct ocean view from the lanai was beautiful. We appreciated that management ultimately reviewed our concerns regarding the check in issue and provided additional compensation. While the check-in experience needs improvement, we enjoyed the remainder of our stay and felt management made a good-faith effort to address the situation.”

“Home was extremely clean and exactly just described in the description. I would stay here again w my family! We had a family of 8 adults an and 2 toddlers and we fit every comfortably! My only issue was that the washer machine was extremely loud and annoying. Couldn’t wash clothes at night as you can hear it throughout the whole house. Other than that 10 out of 10.”

“it would’ve got a five star rating, but there was a few things that safety hazard was the steps every time we went up and down of a night we got dripping, wet needs gutters, and the pool gate was never locked. One was gate was always open the other gate, the lock was broke the backyard to be pet friendly need to be a cleaned up. It was quite the mess and grass was so high.”

“We liked our stay but I thought the price for the quality of the rehabbed condo was too high. They didn’t have any bikes to use and some specific kitchen items. The shower curtain was moldy, the bedroom carpet was old and quite dirty. The bedroom didn’t have an operating widow to see outside or get air. The one burner on the stove top (electric) did not work. A few of the electrical outlets did not work ( the lanai was one) we weren’t allowed a later check out and my daughter is pregnant and was not feeling great so that didn’t help us at all. I left the place extremely clean. The view was amazing, even with high sand burm. The noise level there is high, the walks are very this( older construction)… lots of slamming doors and noise in hallways. The mucky duck is a winner as usual. :)”
