“To start, this is the first negative review I’ve ever left for an AirB&B. When we arrived we messsged the host immediately with regards to the cleanliness of the unit. To make a few.. Hair in the bathtub, mold covered shower curtain, filthy dishes and pans in the cabinet, sand covered floor, filthy balcony sliding door covered in finger prints, mystery and stains on bedding (we went to Walmart to purchase new bedding because it could not be slept on). Even after messaging host regarding these issues they only apologized. They didn’t even offer for the cleaning service to come back. Even all of these things aside the unit is extremely outdated and anything but homey. Definitely will avoid anything listed under this ownership again.”

“When we walked in it smelled clean & promising but in the kitchen there was some kind of sauce on the kitchen cabinet doors and we noticed that the majority of the cabinets hadn’t been wiped down. We then noticed the floors and the coffee/side tables had not been wiped in in a while either. There was no hand soap anywhere in the place. The beds and pillows are hard. They provide 1 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom on purpose. So with 4 people we had to buy additional. We did have trouble getting in (the code didn’t work) but the after-hours person who helped us was wonderful. All in all, it’s an ok place in a convenient location.”

“Our stay was not good…Not internet connection, microwave didn’t work, water leakage in the bathroom sink, bugs n bathroom/bed, etc..Not a pleasant stay”

“Wonderful location and unique Airbnb! However, we arrived to find the A/C broken, leaving the unit at 80 degrees for two nights. Despite promises it would be fixed, it wasn’t. We later learned the host knew about the issue before our arrival but hadn’t informed us. After two days of calls with Airbnb and the host, we finally received a 50% refund and an offer to relocate, both of which required considerable effort on our part. The first replacement offered came with a $300 pet fee we were expected to pay, though thankfully another option was found. While I appreciate the partial refund and eventual relocation, this should have been addressed before our arrival. Spending so much of our vacation advocating for a basic amenity was incredibly disappointing. I wish the host had been more proactive and transparent.”

“I spent majority of my time on the phone contacting air bnb for support for issues with maintenance that the host was not fixing in a timely manner. We arrived to the unit and unloaded (multiple elevators were broken, no carts, took forever). Then we wake to find all of our groceries spoiled. The fridge was not working. Contacted the host and waited almost a full day before they sent out maintenance to our unit and had to get air bnb support because the host was not being helpful. maintenance lady arrived tried to blame us for the fridge not working. Another guy with her was pointing out issues with the fridge and she shut him down. Stove door handle was broken and so was the door to the patio. I had to bypass the host and contact air bnb to get anything fixed. The description says “ample cookware” and there was not a single pot or pan. It was a horrible experience. I feel like I wasted my one vacation of the year and spent it/came home more stressed than I was when I left for the trip”
