“Everything was great, but the house had outdated renovations and everything was old.”

“While the layout of the house was nice and the interior was generally clean, our experience was heavily impacted by major unresolved maintenance and sanitation issues. Upon arrival, the living room was blocked by six large furniture boxes we had to move ourselves. More importantly, the garage was filled with bags of rotting trash from a previous guest, which caused an overwhelming odor inside the home and a severe fly infestation. We were unable to use the outdoor trash bins as they were completely full. We also faced several issues with the amenities: the pool pump was not working upon arrival and we had to fill the pool with water to get it running. We had to purchase supplies to test the water for safety and fix a broken patio screen that was allowing wasps in. We also found the BBQ grill too dirty to use. While the host was apologetic and communicative, the issues were not resolved during our stay, and we felt the house was misrepresented and unmaintained.”
