“Great house. Property management had a lot of expectations with checkout procedures. Late check- in but early checkout, as well. Generic not well detailed instructions made finding the home difficult. Didn’t provide beach access bracelets. Other things came up and trying to find a point of contact to help address issues was difficult.”

“House was great. The beach area was overly crowded. Like I’ve never seen anything like it. Which isn’t the fault of the property but it’s something to keep in mind when booking. My favorite part was they allowed our dog to come!”

“We loved our stay here! We loved riding the bikes around. The golf cart was a HUGE bonus for getting to and from the beach so sand isn’t all in your car. The state park beach is beautiful and only about a mile away. House was very clean. The only negative thing i can say is “panhandle getaways”, was not very friendly at ALL. Before booking we asked if we were to book could we get early check in due to our other condo overbooking and cancelling the day of. I was told yes that’s a possibility to reach out to company that morning. I waited till 1pm to reach out and was told no, early check in wasn’t an option i would have to wait till 4pm. We previously had groceries being delivered between 4-6 but they came at 3:30, so i texted them asking if we couldn’t get in early due to the cleaners being there if they could just bring the groceries inside.i was told“We have 250+ arrivals today. Our employees cannot wait at properties for guests groceries to be delivered”. Just rude and not necessary”

“Our stay unfortunately got off to a bad start. Upon check in we walked into a very warm house. Apparently the air conditioner had been not working and no one had noticed or reported it. Thankfully the company was responsive but the issue took a lot of back and forth calling and texts on our first night which ultimately resulted in a tech showing up at 930pm to finally fix the issue. We also observed in the bunk room that the queen size bed frame was broken. We tried to fix it but it kept slipping out of the frame from the headboard in the wall and due to the potential hazard had to move my daughters into the other bedroom with the single king bed. The water heater also had problems keeping up resulting in showers with inconsistent temperatures. One minute just fine but the next icy cold for about 3 min until the hot water would come back. Multiple outlet issues and fan remotes missing batteries. Overall a beautiful property, but for the price needs to be maintained much better.”

“Location was the best part of this Airbnb. Easy to get to restaurants and the beach. However, we won’t be coming back. Trash was left on the driveway when we arrived, which brought a bear to the property. Floors were dirty, we found about 10 empty fireball shot containers under one of the beds, the dishwasher stopped working 2x, which we had to repair ourselves, one bedroom door needed to be repaired because it wouldn’t shut, WiFi went out for 5 days and could not be repaired before we left. Gate clicker and gate code were not provided upon arrival. Construction across the street everyday. Communication was fine with panhandle, but for how much we spent we were very disappointed - I’ve never had to communicate with a rental as much as I did on this trip.”
