“The location was great and it was only a short walk to the beach access. Beachy Keen was one of the cottages surrounding the pool, so we had our own gate to get into the pool area. We literally walked out the back door to the pool which was great. We used the gas grill which was surprisingly clean for a rental property. The bikes were a nice amenity, and there were several beach chairs and floats for us to use. We brought our own beach towels, but were pleasantly surprised to find a few in the bedroom closet, so we were able to use those. Davis was quick to respond whenever I had a question. I would definitely stay here again.”

“The property staff was quick to respond to questions over text. When we first arrived, the floor was not clean; it was not vacuumed, and the kitchen was clearly not mopped. We bought Swiffer pads to clean the floor and also found a vacuum at the residence. This was a bit frustrating. We did appreciate that once we told the property staff over text, they were concerned and offered to send housecleaning over right away, but we had already cleaned ourselves, so we turned it down. The kitchen had all the appliances you would need to cook anything. Be aware that there aren't any seasonings or olive oil, or anything like that, so pick some up at a local store. Many stores in the area also sell individual items like trash bags, Tide pods, laundry pods, ziplock bags, etc., if you only need one. Beach towels are not included, but you could pick some up at a local surf or beach store. All in all, if you are planning on staying in this area there is a nice pool and close to the beach.”

“We really enjoyed our stay. It was a cozy home and great location - easy walk to the beach, pool right outside, bikeable to many places. Definitely gave the beach vibe, which is exactly what we were looking for. The bikes, plenty of beach towels and beach equipment was a plus. The house itself could use a few updates but nothing that negatively effected our stay. The only downside was that there were only 2 rolls of tp, 2 trash bags, 2 dishwasher pods and 2 laundry pods - since we were staying for 7 days, that was a bit inconvenient, especially for the price we were paying, but otherwise all good. The host was very helpful and responsive.”
