“We stayed here to celebrate my husband’s birthday and were excited about the property and our plans for the weekend. Unfortunately, several issues took away from the experience. The pool was a major reason we chose this home, but the water level was low and the pump was not working throughout our stay. The pool quickly filled with bugs and ants. We understand things can break, but a functioning pool was especially important for our birthday weekend. There were also general upkeep concerns. The three outdoor trash cans were overflowing and smelled strongly. The yards were overgrown and had some trash. Inside, there was a strong marijuana odor, possible pest activity in the kitchen cabinets, a nonworking bedroom fan and lamp, and no extra blankets despite some rooms becoming very cold. Our arrival was also difficult, as we were not provide a key and waited about 25 minutes before an access code was provided.”
