Oceans Edge Vacations

Oceans Edge Vacations's guest rating of 4.80 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

We had a great stay! The location was perfect, with beautiful ocean views and an easy walk to the beach (2 mins tops). The house itself was wonderful - it was clean, spacious, and very well laid out, and the air-conditioning worked great throughout all three stories. Our only minor frustration was how strict the check-in and checkout procedures were (and how early and late check in/check out was). Although the house was available, we were asked to pay a $55 fee to check in just 30 minutes early. Then, the cleaning staff arrived about 30 minutes before the stated checkout time. The dishwasher was also still full when we arrived, which was very minor, but felt a little frustrating given how much time they had to turn the place over. Overall, though, we really enjoyed the house and its location.

The place was great. I would have preferred more information or a new map of Ocean Pines to see what we could do and where everything was. Also you need heavier blankets for the beds. Also the hair dryers do not work in the bathroom outlets. If you pay to stay at Ocean Pines, you should not have to pay to use the pools.

The property is spacious and well-suited for larger groups. However, there were several issues during our stay that significantly affected our overall experience. One big concern was the entry to the property. The keypad/number lock worked inconsistently, and we had to repeatedly work through to gain access. This was particularly challenging at night and made the check-in process unnecessarily stressful. Other concerns: The kitchen light above the stove was not working, making it difficult to use the cooking area at night. The bath towels and hand towels appeared old and were not clean, and should be with fresh good-quality linens. Noticed several bugs, including large spiders, near the beds, very concerning The rooms with bunk beds and basement mudroom had very little airflow and very uncomfortable/mud room Bed was so high Hand soaps were very watery and low quality. There was only one kitchen towel and just 1 packet of dishwashing detergent Broken steps outside kitchen back door

Surprisingly well-stocked kitchen. Location was fantastic. Enough space for our group of 4 adults and 6 kids to have together-time and enough space to have space apart from each other. But the listing feels very nickel-and-diming (no beach chairs, no beach towels, one bath towel per guest, two dishwasher tablets). It set a tone for our stay. Fortunately, generous guests who have stayed previously left plenty of dish soap, laundry detergent, etc so that it wasn’t an issue during our short visit. We did have a problem with ants in the kitchen although there were ant traps around the kitchen and downstairs.

While we enjoyed the stay, the 5th bedroom was NOT a 5th bedroom. It was a walk in closet of another bedroom which was not advertised as such. It was extremely hot in the room due to no fans or AC circulation as it was a closet…the guest ended up staying on the couch :( Secondly, the grill has not been cleaned in a long time to the point where we spent multiple days cleaning it and it still caught on fire. While the rest of the stay was great, it definitely needs to be advertised correctly and the grill needs to be cleaned! The house and location are beautiful and would recommend staying if someone does not need 5 bedrooms.

The house overall was nice we had a nice stay but the neighbors were definitely kinda rude and there was a lot of broken and dirty things when I checked in such as a broke cup and dirty cups and bowls . The pull out trash cabinet nails fell off which I had to fix and to top the homeowners tried to charge me for a already lose railing which was already lose prior to when I got there.

Nice place, comfortable beds, convenient location. The property manager leaves a bit to be desired. The door was unlocked when we arrived, key was on the table by the door and keypad batteries were dead. It was a struggle to get the property manager to believe what I was telling them. The trash from the previous renter was still in the kitchen and bathrooms, I mentioned that to them too with no response or action. There weren't any towels or washcloths in the kitchen. They said they'd bring some to us, but it never happened. I got the impression that they manage a lot of properties and are under-staffed.

We are a group of 8 in town for a golf trip. We felt that the location was excellent and plenty of room for us. The house was comfortable. We were disappointed by the lack of basic necessities provided by the house when we arrived.

The location was good and we apreciated the view. Unfortunately, the full bed was broken when we arrived and the second bathroom had no power making it unusable as it had no other source of light/window. The room is located right by the trash shoot which is convenient but was smelly. The kids enjoyed the indoor pool and there was plenty to do close by. Correspondence was quick but dealing with a company, not the owner, resulted in repeated requests to complete "check-in" even when it was already done. I ended up having to use the AirBnB app and a separate website to have all information. Lastly and most unfortunately they requested I pay for damage to the bed which I reported imidately. Hard not to take it as a shake down or a way to off set cost. I will not book again with this company.

The place is out dated needs upgrades. The power cuts off and you have to kick the breaker yourself which is outside. The kitchen sink was clogged for 5 days. Wouldn’t waste my money on this place if I knew this before I booked this place I wouldn’t have.Don’t believe the reviews like I did you will be disappointed.
