Perdido Key Resort Management reviews in Pensacola, Florida

“The home was lovely & the resort met all our expectations; however, I WOULD NEVER RENT FROM Jd AGAIN. I knew when I discovered "Jd" was a property management company instead of an individual (I believe the way the properties are listed is intended to mislead folks), that I made a big mistake. Questions asked before our trip were unanswered or answered incorrectly. Upon arrival, with no air upstairs, I was told it was because I turned it down by more than 2 degrees at a time. We'd driven 10 hrs that day, 3 of4 bedrooms were upstairs, & it was 81 degrees up there, so we slept on couches, downstairs. It was to be fixed first thing the next morning, & after many calls & texts (answered by someone different at different area codes every time) initiated by me, it was fixed @ 3:00 p.m. I was told I would be compensated for the inconvenience. Now, 4 days after check-out, I still haven't received compensation for that night or the last night, after a mandatory evacuation meant we left early.”

“We had a great time during our stay! The location is perfect - walkable to the beach but there is a shuttle that will take you as well. Only deducted one star as we had to mop the floor upon arrival, the smell from the trash in the garage which only gets picked up once a week, and we had to purchase toilet paper, laundry and dish tabs, cleaning supplies, etc. which I'm used to already having at Airbnbs. No other complaints - we had a lovely time and would book this place again. It was very spacious and we loved being able to lounge together or walk over to the beach.”

“This place had 1 set of towels in each bathroom. It reaked of trash. The master bedroom has a small bed. Not enough response from staff about what we needed. Price too high for what we received. My daughter stayed in 6608 and it was managed by the same company and her unit was dirty as well, the air did not work properly, she had very few towels in her unit too. It doesn’t make sense to give guest 1 set of towels for several days for guest.”

“This unit required physical keys, which had to be picked up from the rental company's office. Since it was a Sunday, I was given a code to access a lockbox outside the office to retrieve the keys. Unfortunately, there were no keys in the lockbox when we arrived for check-in. I had to call the emergency number. When I finally got through, I had to leave a message and wait for a callback. Fortunately, we received a call within 10 minutes. We then had to wait in the parking lot for about 20 minutes while someone came to provide us with the keys. We were able to get into the condo around 4:30 p.m., so it wasn't a terrible delay. However, after driving 13 hours, it was nerve-racking to arrive and be unable to access our unit. When we finally got inside, we found the condo to be quite dirty. The floors were grimy, there was used soap and someone's loofah left in the shower, and there was popcorn on the rug. It seemed as though the cleaning crew simply changed the linens and towels.”

“Great location. Good Price. Big Space. Our main critique was the washing machine was not clean, and the actual building inside the compound was hard to find in the dark.”
