Emerald Coast Retreats reviews in Panama City Beach, Florida

“The xondo meet all our expectations. All the beds were comfortable. It had a couple beach chairs and an umbrella which was nice.”

“This home fit our family well for the holidays. It was a close walk to the beach and an easy golf cart ride around town.”

“The home is located in a great area, close to many popular PCB restaurants, and the private beach access was definitely a highlight of our stay. However, we were disappointed with the cleanliness of the property. Check-in was at 4:00 PM, which already felt later than most places we’ve stayed. We asked about the possibility of an early check-in and were told the home was still being cleaned, but unfortunately that did not appear to be the case upon arrival. The sheets in all of the bedrooms appeared dirty and we ended up having to wash them ourselves. We also found dishes in the kitchen cabinets that looked as though they had been put away without being properly cleaned. Most concerning was the condition of the floors. We had a baby with us, and allowing her to crawl or even walking barefoot was not an option because the floors were extremely dirty. After only a short time crawling, our baby’s hands and knees were black from the dirt. We ultimately had to sweep and mop ourselves.”

“The view was beautiful. condo was spacious. The beds were comfortable. The host was awesome and check in and out was very easy. However, the unit needs some work. The microwave is on its last leg. The panel where the buttons are pushes all the way in. The faucet in the master bathroom leaks from the top. The shower door in the master bathroom doesn’t close properly and the frame around it needs to be replaced. The walls need to be painted in the hall of the unit. One of the isles on the stove doesn’t work properly. I recommend removing the white appliances period, they look outdated and worn. The sofa is darker than it probably originally was because it needs to be deep cleaned or replaced. The WiFi was horrible. The tvs are small. And the comforter in the master bedroom had bleach stains on it. For the money you pay to stay there it should be in comparison to home or better. Those prices are half the price of a month’s rent for just four nights.”

“Amazing place for us! We had our 5 yr old with us and it was a perfect distance to the beach, you can literally see it from the top balcony of the house. We will definitely look into renting it again next time we travel to PCB again!”
