“Phenomenal Location, but Cleanliness Significantly Affected Our Stay The location is truly phenomenal,o ne block from beach access and steps from Rosemary Beach's town center. The exceptional location and walkability are why I gave the property 3 stars rather than lower. As someone who manages high-end properties, I understand no rental is perfect. However, at approx. $520/night, the cleanliness and condition fell well below reasonable expectations and significantly affected our comfort. The home had an unpleasant odor, and we did not feel comfortable preparing food there. Issues included worn/pilling sheets and pillows, a stained quilt, threadbare towels, stained upholstered chairs, bathroom mold, a soiled toilet paper roll, and a shower that did not drain, leaving 2–3 inches of standing water every time each one of us showered. The property has an unbeatable location, but needs a deep cleaning, quality linens & towels, and proper maintenance to match its price point.”

“The host was very responsive to my text and check in was easy as was the location an easy find and not far from lots of stuff. There were minor issues such as the bathroom sink drained very slowly in the master suite. My husband found several windows that were open, which poses a safety risk if not noticed and there was an ant issue that I had specifically asked if it had been resolved. Host sent someone over right away to spray (I assume, we were not there). As we did not use the towels or the bed linens, i was a bit concerned when it was not required for them to be taken to the laundry upon exit w/any used towels. Although we did not use the towels we took them to the laundry anyways just to ensure the next guest does have clean towels, if they so decide to use them. Would love to have done that w/the linens as well, but was instructed not to. I really hope they are being changed and/or cleaned between guest. Otherwise, house is as described :)”
