“I typically do not leave negative reviews. Having stayed at Tropical Isle many times, I hope it was a one off, but other than semi clean sheets & 2 new towels for a 4 night stay, it appears cleaning was skipped. We arrived so late, I immediately informed the host, but requested no added housekeeping for privacy, safety, & it was a late hour. There was sand in the bed, hair & dirt built up on the shelf in the bathroom that is falling apart & unstable, used toiletries & body loofas in the shower, food crumbs in the silverware drawer, dirty dishes, an old yellow foam bed pillow with stains and markings, & more. The unit had some maintenance concerns: exposed screws & leaky unfinished plumbing that could cause injuries. Host was VERY responsive & I believe would have sent someone to clean again immediately, but I opted to clean it myself. That’s on me. Overall the unit is in the perfect location. I hope the owner receives this feedback & invests in making this unit what it could be.”

“We stayed in 112. It was clean but it is dated. Could use some TLC. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is small but functional. The couch and chair are ok. The kitchen was fine everything worked and we cooked two evening meals there. The chairs outside are older. Now the best part is you can be to the beach in 2 minutes. The beach access was great. Very quiet place. You can be to Ft Walton shopping area in a few minutes. That was very nice. We found Sugar and Co. their ice cream and specialty sodas are amazing. Went there twice. You can walk to Stewby’s Seafood that is nice. For the price it is hard to beat this place. Just needs some up dating.”
