“Original room not available due to water damages. Room moved to not comparable. Ask for late check out, denied. Would of canceled under different circumstances. Will not use in the future.”

“The property matched the listing photos, was easy to find, offered plenty of parking, and was conveniently located across from the beach near restaurants and activities. However, the apartment felt smaller and tighter than expected. Unfortunately, I found pet hair embedded in the couch. When I sat down, a small black insect jumped onto me, bit me, and jumped off. I also discovered dead roaches, spiders, and other insects behind the bed. I immediately contacted the host, who responded quickly and requested photos and videos. I returned to document the conditions, but after sending their team, the host denied there was a problem. Thankfully, Airbnb reviewed my evidence and issued a refund. I travel frequently and regularly use Airbnb without issues. I'm relieved I inspected the unit before unloading my belongings. I never stayed overnight due to the conditions, so I cannot comment on noise, neighbors, rules, or comfort. Great location, but a very disappointing experience.”

“Great Oceans condo were not thrilled that I let them know after the fact on a few issues. (Like bugs and broken appliances) but we did not want anyone coming into the unit if we were there or not. We dealt with it. (Washed dishes by hand) The bugs were the last 2 nights and thought it was a one time deal only....not! The location and views were outstanding!”

“House was in great shape, with plenty of comfortable sleeping options, and very nicely appointed from top to bottom. Six-seater golf cart was a nice option for us as well. Our group has stayed at several Great Ocean Condos and Homes properties, and we will keep coming back!”
