“I will preface by saying I am a bit of a picky traveler- but if you have standards that are on the higher side too- continue reading. Our unit was in a decent location, basically across the road to the beach, 1 mile to the pool, another half mile to Baytowne Warf. And it was a large unit, 3B3B! But it is in need of some major updating. The furniture appeared VERY used. The beds were rather uncomfortable and LOUD. When stepping in the shower upstairs, I genuinely thought it was going to crack open, it was very weak. The handrails, table, countertops (touchable surfaces!!!) all felt sticky and grimy. The vinyl floors had some obvious areas of damage. The back porch was nice enough, screened in, and had a dining table out there. I visited a neighboring unit, which was very updated and clean, and was further disappointed by this unit's failure to live up to expectations in the Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort.”
