“We had a great stay! The house was nice, the hosts were very responsive and clear with all instructions, and the location was perfect. Would definitely recommend!”

“Had cardboard on sliding glass door letting heat in master bedroom and had a standing ac unit beside bed and the unit was very loud making it hard to sleep. Ceiling was stained and had a moldy smell”

“We had a great experience. My wife and the kids loved that the beach was within walking distance. The description was accurate. Jan with FunVacay sent me text messages to remind of check-in and check-out instructions. I recommend this to anyone looking for a hassle free beach experience.”

“Our stay was average. The inside of both homes was clean, kitchen stocked with cookware/utensils, & the beach location was great. The management company was responsive whenever we reached out. Several issues made the property fall short of what we’d expect from a “luxury rental.” The pool was unusable for about 2½ days (broken pump & filthy). The exterior needs attention- rolled up rugs, old fencing, pipes/lattice lying around, rusty/sticky doors, & nail pops on the boardwalk to the beach- some boards were replaced. Directions for the elevator need to be more specific. The few provided beach chairs were unusable. Do not compare this home to the ones on the same street, it is not in the same league, but has potential. We enjoyed our vacation, but the property’s condition did not match its luxury description or price. We had higher expectations for a property at this price point. Exterior upkeep, inviting outdoor seating and overall outdoor maintenance would make a big difference.”

“Before arrival, the host required us to sign an additional external agreement that was not disclosed on the listing. Communication leading up to the trip was frustrating, with repeated requests for information and multiple calls/messages despite asking to keep communication within Airbnb. Within hours of check-in, we found multiple cockroaches across different areas of the home. We reported the issue immediately, but communication during the stay was slow and inconsistent. Pest control efforts were ineffective, and additional cockroaches appeared even after the property was sprayed. Most concerning, the spray used was not safe for children, pets, or pregnancy, forcing us to leave the property temporarily. The host did not offer meaningful resolution or compensation. Airbnb Support ultimately stepped in afterward. The location was beautiful, but the property felt more worn and less updated in person than the listing photos suggested.”
