Avari in Miramar Beach, Florida

“Beautiful space that was close to the beach. Very clean! The only issue we had was at check in, the code wasn’t working and we waited for a long time at our door for someone to help us.”

“Check in was stressful, two separate keypads to get in. Codes weren’t clear to which door was what. Called the number, got someone on the line that didn’t know how to help and put us on hold for over 30 mins and then eventually got hung up on. Hallways were way too hot. Ice machine was too far and inconvenient. Hot tub was like warm and jets did not work well. No blanket so bring one with. Kitchen was nice and it was nice to have that extra bathroom.”

“Good location, responsive company. Won’t allow early check in even when the rooms ready and couldn’t even park on the property to at least enjoy the beach for the day while we waited on our room so that was super ridiculous. Won’t allow visitors to come by because they can’t park there, the furniture was dirty looking and the outdoor lounger was covered in rust on the metal. Fine stay and clean enough but definitely needs some updating.”

“Well, I paid for a place and got to stay there for one night then we had a leak in the ceiling. They offered us another place that was less expensive and did not give us the difference in the rates. They offered me maybe half of what I should’ve been reimbursed for the place needs major renovations.”

“Good location that you can walk, bike or drive to lots of eating options. Definitely need to drive to get to the harbor and listen to live music if that is your plan. Avari did not disclose that they wouldn't provide beach towels and contrary to their response, we never found anywhere to "rent" them. Missing coffee filters on day 1 and messaged them several times over the 5 days there. Received plenty of oh sorry we will resolve it, but they never did. Nice place is a good location, but this Avari is obviously not local and had no real idea what is going on on this unit, or any "local team" that will correct anything. So it's right next to the beach....but bring your own beach towels. Plus the beach service company they said would handle everything is temporarily closed and the number disconnected. When I noticed Avari they said they didn't know anything about it and offered no solutions. Again...not very helpful. Place was nice, service was poor.”
