“upon arrival I saw an infestation of lizards outside the home , didn’t make it a big deal being it’s Florida & lizards are common, the issue was when I walked inside the home & there were 2 live lizards! never ran from me but stayed in place as if they owned the home ! I immediately contacted the host & support with picture evidence & left the home to find another place to sleep. however i’ve never even received an response back about my concern , not even an apology , any consideration, nothing ! I got left on READ by all host & my money was taken even though I never slept there & on the camera they can clearly see I walked in to leave immediately back out with all of my property! but then ask me to leave a 5 star review! disgusting service! not to mention the host also told SUPPORT that the lizards in the home are ok because it’s “florida & the climate “ i’ve lived here before & have family still here & I promise we never lived with lizards ! if you like lizards you’ll love this home”

“Overall, the home showed well, but the experience had several drawbacks. Communication was inconsistent, Rose came across as very direct and not very accommodating, while James was more softer in tone. I requested a later checkout, which Rose declined, but James later confirmed an extension the night before checkout (although not ideal timing I was grateful); however, this wasn’t communicated to the cleaning crew, who arrived at the original time. While the home appeared clean, there were issues: ants in the kitchen, a very noisy refrigerator with rust at the bottom inside, and the bathroom showed signs of mold. The property also lacked basic supplies like trash bags, paper towels, and washcloths. Although there is a security gate, it was consistently left open. The neighborhood is okay at best, and roosters across the street will wake you up before dawn daily. Wi-Fi is available, but it did not work properly with a VPN, which may be a concern for anyone needing a secure connection.”
