“This is a review of a property called Frigate’s Nest managed by Vacation Rentals of the Florida Keys. Our party included 14 adults that rented the property in June 2025. This was my first Airbnb rental and I was very skeptical. I could not find any reviews. However, when arriving, I was pleasantly surprised that the place was very accommodating and well appointed. There is nothing I can say about the property negatively. The only negative I can say is the mosquitoes and the humidity of June when we visited. Neither of which they can control. Everything about the property was high-end from the kayaks to the ice machine to the furnishings both indoor and out. There are several restaurants and bait shops within a short distance, which makes things very accessible. We rented a 24 foot open console boat, which we docked at the property without problem. The boat was delivered locally in Little Torch Key Air, which is very nice. Overall, while it may be pricey, it is well worth it.”
