“We booked this property specifically because it was advertised with a pool, but unfortunately the pool was unusable and potentially unsafe throughout our entire stay. The hosts did not inform us of the issue until approximately 1.5 hours after check-in. We were then told the pool had black algae and had been heavily treated with chemicals. Our friends could have been hurt since we weren’t told till significantly after check in. What was most frustrating was the lack of communication and follow-through. During our 5-day stay, we repeatedly received messages saying they were “checking on it” or would provide updates, but no meaningful updates or resolution ever came. The pool remained unusable for the duration of our trip. Without the pool, the property was not worth the price we paid, especially considering that this was a major advertised amenity and one of the primary reasons we selected the home. “The house was beautiful! We did have to wait over 30 mins past check in time to get in because cleaners were still there and she was still there a hour after checking in. When having issues, there’s generated responses which isn’t helpful when experiencing problems. Other than a handful of issues we experienced, it was a nice beautiful stay! Just not sure if it’s worth the price.”

“Good location pretty close to both the PIE airport and beaches. Convenient to shopping and restaurants. The driveway is really steep so be cautious as others have mentioned. The pool was pretty dirty but I guess that’s partially to be expected with no pool cage. Had to pay a $40 non-refundable deposit to get check in info via a third party portal. The house is in ok condition, decent value for the money. Overall a good not great stay.”

“Upon entry, the property did not reflect the condition shown in the listing. There was visible dust buildup on the living room ceiling and stains on the sofa. The kitchen faucet was loose, and mold was found under the kitchen sink cabinet, raising cleanliness concerns. The master bathroom shower was clogged and not functioning properly. The exterior was poorly maintained, with piles of landscaping debris throughout the yard contributing to cockroach activity observed during the stay, creating an unsanitary environment. The refrigerator was not cooling or producing ice, resulting in food spoilage. The grill was unusable due to the absence of a propane tank, causing inconvenience after food had already been purchased for grilling. Essential supplies, including toilet tissue and paper towels, were insufficient. Additionally, the photos do not accurately represent the property’s current condition.”
